An Interesting Spiritual Dream!

(The article about Spiritual dreams which I read last night from IMPACT magazine)

Acts 2:17“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams."
Read this article last night from impact magazine about how God can speak to us through dreams. And woke up with an interesting spiritual dream.

Immediately recorded the entire dream on my iphone note app as soon as I woke up, so I would not forget this vivid spiritual dream. (The people who I recalled in this dream are quite random people from ym, mainly youth's from my ysg & music ysg & their leaders and they are not the ones that normally lead in worship actually)

Anyways here's what I recorded...

"There was this sudden last minute circumstance that let to me leading this "prayer worship" session at night at this random classroom like setting. Can't remember the context of why we were there in the first place.

This place had 2 levels, there was this staircase that led to a lower level where we all gathered in this crammed placed. We shifted all the tables & chairs to the side. And we all crammed in a circle.

We were doing some last minute preparation for this prayer worship night. Had no idea what is to come. Just told one of my youth Yunying if she cld lead us in a time of worship. (Have never ask her to lead worship before). She then went to a separate room upstairs with Tay Ying (I think) & apparently Grace chan was on the upper floor with them to help. (Not sure why this people were involved, maybe because I saw them yesterday)

In that time we were having a short time of worship but can't rmb who was leading. (This segment was abit hazy)

And there was this break after, Ian Fong came with Gerard telling me he felt led to share something, like an exhortation. (Apparently when I was talking to Ian, one of his ear seemed block, so had to talk to him on one side) (Guessing they appeared in this dream because sent an sms to them last night about running this 16.8km run, but oh well...)

Suddenly later Alicia came out from some other room praying with some girls. And she cued to me that this group of 5 girls felt led to lead the worship segment together. Apparently it was like a acoustic band, like 5 people? (Didn't see the instruments they were using though as had no idea how they going to have a band in this small classroom in actually)
Later found out Celine was going to be the worship leader with Yunying, Tay Ying & a couple others. (can't remember who)
I signal to those involve to gather at one corner to discuss this last minute prayer worship night with those involved & remember there were a lot who came to help too. Ps Raymond was there too. And other younger youths were there to help into this impromptu prayer worship night.

Ian lee was there who gave some annoucement before we started, I remembered looking at the clock but it looked hazy, so couldnt see the time but apparently we had to end by 930pm.

But didn't want to let time constrain what God wanted to do, I remember I was very unprepared, prayed for His Holy Spirit to lead me, so took the mic and supposed began to start.,,.

And I Suddenly Woke up!!!! Sighhhh! Tried to go back to sleep again to continue that dream but decided to just record everything down if not I forgot the details.
(Strangely, for the rarest time I decided not to put an alarm clock last night, so woke up at 10 plus am... If not most of the earlier details of this dream would have been disrupted by waking up earlier, which i normally do)

Wells will not try to interpret so hard what this dream is about, unless God make it even more clearer for me. But will just shelf it at one corner first...and just thought it's quite an interesting dream to share. :)

A Divine Intervention

1 Peter 3:15 "But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."

Will keep the details to a minimal to keep the confidentially of this person, but I would like to highlight how God can divinely intervene in our lives to 2 people who do not know each other. Below is a short testimony of God's intervention, which i'm still amazed as I share this.

The last few days, been communicating with this man whom I do not know actually via email. Apparently, he came across my site by chance and noticed that I was a christian, so he decided to email me some tough intellectual questions about Christianity and disagreements he had with the bible in recent years.

After much prayer & guidance by the Holy Spirit, I felt a need to respond to the best I can to each of his deeply reflected questions. And shared with him short lessons I've learnt from our recent studies of the bible from Disciple 1 and ironically just the night before he emailed me, some of us had this discussion on the topic of "Inerrancy of the Bible" and because it was still fresh in my mind I could response to some of the questions he was asking. A few more emails after, we shared more about our lives and thoughts & could sense the hope he found in God again, and just knowing that is one of the greatest Joy any fellow fellow brother in Christ can experience. And it got even more divine when we both later found out we actually were from the same church!

I hope to maintain this fellowship with this brother whom I have never met still, but will see where God lead us in the future.

Looking back, I'm so sure God just place such divine opportunity for us! It has been one of the most meaningful email correspondence I ever had with someone before, especially one who found hope in God again and it all started from a divine intervention from our Sovereign Lord! :)

YM Weekend 2012!...Reflections of YM after 10 years! :)

This recent YM Weekend has reminded me yet again how faithful the Lord has been to us for the past 10 years! Going through the whole YM system since I was this small shy boy sec 1 than, I can definitely testify of being the product of this ministry 10 years later, and I owe it to alot of the leaders in the past & present whom has invested so much in this ministry and in my life in someway or another. And as I reflect about this weekend, i'm so glad that I made the decision to serve Him full time as a staff in this ministry in this season of my life here today.

This photo taken at YM Camp 2008

YM also known as Youth Ministry, became official in 2003, which makes this the 10th year since this ministry moved out of the old "sunday school" system. It has grown to over 500 over youths, with 420 averange attendance, and last year 10th YM camp had an overwhelming 390 over youths who signed up!

The next paragraph is just me going into my nostalgia mode as I reflect back my journey in YM thus far! :)

It all started in 2002, when I was just this small shy sec 1 boy, back then when we were still at the old YMCA auditorium. We were still transiting out of the old "sunday school" system. The following year in 2003, YM was officially formed and that was when my own small group God's Clay came into being too! *(God's clay's, this is our 10th anniversary as a small grp! YAY!). In 2004, we shifted to the YWCA building where we are still today.
10yrs with my small group God's Clay from YM to SGM! (This picture taken at our first ever ysg retreat organised by Chin Ee after our O'levels in 2005)

After missing out so much of the happening YM camp's from 2002-2004 because of my shy introverted nature than, I finally decided to go for my first camp in 2005. And as many of you have heard before, it was at my first camp that my life was really TRANSFORMED for Christwhen I encountered God there.

Following year in 2006, was when I step up to serve as a peer leader for my own small grp. And it was that year I began to serve more in the ministry. First joining the Crosstrainers sub-ministry(Activities ministry) & after my first leaders retreat, Andrew lai brought me to my first YM GAP(Prayer Ministry), which I stayed on from that very day onwards.
The Crosstrainers! (My first year with them in 2006)

2008, was a new & challenging period, stepping up to lead the crosstrainer sub-ministry with Isaac with such big shoes to fill from our predecessors.

2009, decided to step down from my own small grp as a peer leader and focus on leading a new Sec 1 group, called God's Everlasting Love (G.E.L) where they are now all grown up Sec 4 youths! :)
My beloved youths! (This picture was taken when they were sec 2)

2010, decided to join Ymove (Missions ministry) & slowly transisted out of the crosstrainers ministry handling over to our uprising leaders, Max & Glenn.
YMOVE

And last year 2011, was where I made some big steps of Faith in my 10 years here. Firstly, deciding to serve full time at YM as a staff, which was quite a testimony too, but will leave that story to another day. Secondly, agreeing to be the camp commandant for the year end YM camp, where God had taught me much in the process of planning such a huge camp!
YM Camp 2011

And now 2012, I can look back and see how YM has come so far, and it's a whole new generations of youths that God has entrusted us to serve and it's really such a JOY serving on the ground in this ministry. Like what Uncle Sam had shared in his sermon at YM weekend, I hope to be that "History Maker" who can tell our kids one day that... "Many years ago, it was this ministry that I encountered God and saw so many lifes being Transformed for Christ!"

Below are just a short outline of the sermon notes that I took down from Uncle Sam (YM PTM), Marcus (YM chairman) over the 7 different services that each of them were involved in the past couple of days.

Uncle Sam (TSS-5pm, P&P 930am, 1130am)
"It takes a village to raise a youth"

Ephesians 4:11-13
New International Version (NIV)
11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Like in the Skit there are so many challenges our youths faces daily

We need to invest in these young peoples life which have eternal value!

There are so many challenges our youths faces daily.

All of us have a set of spiritual gifts that is use to serve God for His purposes in our life.

“Youth Ministry is not about programmes, it’s about relationships—with God, and with man.

”Programme must facilitate relationships!"

“You can teach the entire Matthew 5-7, but Kingdom values are caught, not taught.”

We are all role models, just that either good or bad

How we give to others out of the little that we have. How we deal with failures, success, how we love the unlovable.

Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit that will work in you and through you!

"Youths transformed for Christ so that we can impact the world"

Challenge:
Will you commit yourself to grow & mature in Christ. Will you be a role model.

Count the cost, Pay the price!

Marcus Lim- (Sanctuary,730am, 930am, 1130am, 5pm)
"It takes a village to raise a youth"

"They [Young People] have exalted notions, because they have not been humbled by life or learned its necessary limitations; moreover, their hopeful disposition makes them think themselves equal to great things -- and that means having exalted notions. They would always rather do noble deeds than useful ones: Their lives are regulated more by moral feeling than by reasoning -- all their mistakes are in the direction of doing things excessively and vehemently. They overdo everything -- they love too much, hate too much, and the same with everything else."
- Aristotle

Each of them are fearfully & wonderfully make!

We tend to want to mould them into our image than moulding to the Lord

True spiritual growth happens on the inside

Farming analogy, if ask a true farmer what does he grow? He can only plant, only God can make it grow. Similar to the doctor, he can only prepare the right conditions for one to better, but God is the one that Heals.

1 Corinthians 3:6-9
New International Version (NIV)
6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. 9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

God is the heavenly partner than makes the transformation

Word, Prayer, Service , Community

Each week we are have such limited time of 1hr30 mins with the youths.

Time spend together leads to spiritual friendships to be form!

"Youths transformed for Christ"

"Laying the foundation for life long discipleship"

Parents actually have the most impact with the number of times they have with the youths and they can lead in the spiritual growth for their children.

The words from the Hymnal that spoke to Marcus to serve at YM

It takes a whole village to invest in the lives of this young people!

Hope in Turbulent Times

Decided to go for this talk to hear some deep solid biblical teaching from Dr Tan Kim Huat who is a dean of academic studies in TTC at the The Living Word Conference, at St.James Church last evening. And in did, have much to take back from him from this one session alone, definitely very different from the style of sermons I heard at the recent Hillsong conference which were more inspirational than deep profound teachings like this.

Hope in Turbulent Times

Romans 8:18-27
New International Version (NIV)

Present Suffering and Future Glory
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that[a] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.
22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our heartsknows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

1) Introduction
Christian hope for the glory of God is founded on God's gracious love, & leads to exultation

The vicissitudes of life
-Shakespeare's Hamlet (slings & arrows of outrageous fortune)
-Matthew Arnold's Dover Beach (the turbid's ebb & flow of human misery)

Will we make it?

Romans 8:1-11
Freedom from a Torah hijacked by sin

Through Christ's death & the Spirit work

Romans 8:12-17
Spirit & sonship

In the Old testament- The "Son of God" represent Israel
Moses said to pharaoh "let my son go"

Receiving the spirit means sonship & liberation (exodus)

Romans 8:18-27
New Exodus & the 3 groanings

Scope & divine participation in relation to our hope

Illustration of our Christian life is like we are currently on the Mountain of sonship & heading towards the Mountain of glory (this is our hope). But in between is the Valley of groaning.

2) Affirmation of Sonship (Romans 8:15-17)

a) the spirit bears intimate witness (testifying to our spirits) about our intimate sonship (crying abba father)

"Abba" father & Aramaic word,   is a word use for children to parents. It's an intimate term.

This inward spirit in us that we can call God, "abba"

b) Sonship means being heirs, joint-heirs with Christ

Sonship= heirs, joint-heirs with Christ!

C) Sonship doesn't mean no sufferings. Rather, sonship means the transformation of suffering in & through Christ. As we have been grafted into the life & work of the messiah (Romans 6), so should our lives take on this messianic shape, I.e suffering will be part of our vocation.

"...Transformation of suffering into something redemptive"
- Life takes on a Christ-shaped

3)Agony of the cosmos (Romans 8:18-22)

Cosmic futility & frustration
-Part of God's purpose: to bind up the welfare of the cosmos with his children
-Cosmic expectation waiting for the freedom of the glory of the hidden of God= "revelation of the sons of God"

Why revelation & not redemption?

- Not just about our being saved
- but unveiling of our true status in Christ, our having reached the fullest potential= revelation of glory!

E.g parable of the mustard seed. Starts small, but life has been planted, can't see fully at the start, but it will grow.

The spectacular that we will see one day has started in us.  Salvation starts now , but the full glory will be fully revealed one day!

"Eternity begins now!"

Hence, eager anticipation (craning of its neck to see of the cosmos)

Cosmic groan
- not fruitless agony
- but that which is likened to childbirth
- great pain but great expectation ahead

4) Agony of the children of God
(Romans 8:23-25)
- We are saved in hope (biblical salvation always has a future tense)
- But presently weak, yet to experience fully what God has in store for us
- first fruits of the spirit, sharpening the sense of yearning
- redemption of our bodies

We are designed by God to be embodied person

Weakness - paul said "we do not know what to pray for? "

Stalemate: creation looks to us but we are weak

Prayer and the advancement of God's Kingdom: "Thy kingdom come!"

In prayer we agree with God. Our heartbeats according to His heart, the Father can act, we can only desire.

The kingdom comes through prayer!

What are we to start a prayer? When we do not know what exactly is the will of our father?

5) Agony of the Holy Spirit
(Romans 8:26-27)

Into this stalemate enters the spirit
- Spirit helps us in our weakness by interceding for you
- This is done through unutterable groaning
- does not refer to glossolalia (speaking in tongues) but deep travail
- but deep groanings, without language = great depth of pathos
- spirit identifications with our pains

There is Perfect Communication between the Father and the Spirit, and hence our Redemption is assured

6)Assurance & Activity
 - Our future glory is assured

God knows our heart!

The profound importance of prayer
- indication of our task : ending the circle of suffering , through prayer and intercession

-We tend to pass on suffering (As it moulds us), we suffered it & thus unknowingly carries on to others.
-This is where it must be stop, "commit it to the Lord", trusting the spirit to help us!

- Don't let bad people shape us, it will only magnify the bad

The spirit comes along us to help us no matter how many times we fail.

"The redemption of the entire creation is connected with our revelation and ministry "

HOW FIRM A FOUNDATION, YE SAINTS OF THE LORD

One of the Q & A...
How do we response to suffering?
...We tend to response to many cliche answers...In our quest for answers especially in times of great suffering, we tend to ask many questions. However it is through the journey we realise that we will come back one full circle that we have the answer all along. As we walk with them through the journey, just listen to their heart. Primary role is just being with them.

Personal reflections from Hillsong Conference 2012 (Part 2/2)

Spent one of the most memorable 10 days of my life in Sydney with a bunch of wonderful people as we all attended our first ever Hillsong Conference 2012 together and came back so inspired & bless from the conference!
We want to keep that flame going on and not let it just be a "spiritual high" experience that we experience and leave it behind when reality kicks in! Like what Joyce Meyer said in her sermon on spiritual maturity, "we shouldn't just go from conferences to conferences, hear inspiring sermons, feel good like a sniff of a perfume and then go back to our worldly lifestyles. We need to take it back and study it!" So decided to take this few days after coming back from sydney to really digest & internalised my thoughts and to share what God has inspired & revealed to me in this conference! :)

Team Wesley”goes to hillsong” limited edition t-shirt at Hillsong Conference 2012, allphones arena!

One thing I admire about going with this "Team Wesley" group, is we are all like-minded people who served in the ministry in some way or another. After our first pre-conference meeting a week before the conference, we felt the need to be intentional going into this conference, not just to go there, have fun, see our favourite speakers and worship leaders, but to really come in with a teachable heart and set spiritual goals together that we want to take back from this conference.

On our way to Darling Harbour to continue our sharing before the conference.

On Day 1 of our trip we started our sharing at Pancakes on the Rocks and continued later at Darling Harbour, where we shared our heart desires & questions on our minds coming into this conference. I had a slightly different agenda with many of them, as after going for so many different conferences and camps over the years. I can say that I have a lot of "head" knowlege and experiences of what this conference is probably going to be like and the kind of sermons I would probably hear. Athough I was still excited for this fresh experience, there was this at the back of my mind of a couple of the speakers theology. I didn't want that to affect me, as this are just preconceived presumptions and none of us have the jurisdiction to judge except God. So prayed about it for awhile, and decided to prepare my heart and set this goals for myself just before the conference as I believe God can still speak through anyone and He did if you read on! :)

1) To be opened, have a teachable heart to what God got to say from the various speakers and not to have any preconceived presumptions of their background or what we heard of them.

2) To have a renewed fresh encounter of God and just be in awe of Him!

1) Personal revelations from God pertaining to my first goal :)
What your about to read below in this part are abit heavy theologically *(Disclaimer this are just my personal thoughts and insights I got from this conference that I want to share and hope not to have a "debate" of this openly here)

On day 4 of the conference, after hearing a whole spectrum of sermons from different speakers from different parts of the world. God impressed this on my heart. "He has called us all with different callings, some to preach on grace, some on missions, some on social justice, some on victory, some on the greatness of God! I believed each church in the world have a different facet in living & growing in their Faith in the same God." I may not agree with 10% of a couple of their sermons, but who am I too judge. For example, one of the speakers preached a beautiful message of grace where I can tell is out of the conviction of God's revelation to him and I believe we should all hear too! Some will say that you can't hear this all the time alone & how can want grow in spiritual maturity on that alone. But what if we are just hearing this because that's the same message he will preached where ever he is called to preach. We do not know how he does his mentoring, bible studies and at the end its the lasting fruits that matters.

We are all called for different ministries to advance God's kingdom. And I believe God reveals to us a different facet of him in different churches and countries and there's so much of God that we can learnt from each other.

Having said this, this conference has gave me new insights to this "theological" tension I once reflected on in a note I wrote before.

It always aches me to hear churches of different denominations "judging" one another for their doctrines or theology. Especially recent issues that have arise in a church in Singapore today. God has gave me this strong conviction to preserve the unity of the bigger body of the church in what ever capacity of influence I have. Only God has the jurisdiction to judge us according to our call. So as long one is not outrightly preaching something that is totally off doctrine of who God is and doesn't help in advancing God's kingdom in anyway. I think we should really show love to one another. I may not agree with some doctrines due to the lenses I have from what I've learnt or influence from my upbringing in a methodist church. But I hope and pray that churches out there can agree to disagree on certain doctrines but yet love and treat one another as fellow family members in Christ.

"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:34-35 (NLT)

Now on a lighter note... :)

2) Personal revelations from God pertaining to my second goal!

To be in a conference with so many reknowned international speakers and worship leaders around the world, worshiping with 21,000 other like-minded believers all over the world who are all passionate and hungry for God, in one same place is an experience and sight I will never forget! I still remember the nights we can just sing and worship God non-stopped forever. Especially when we sang the last night of worship. The words of  "I surrender, I surrender, I want to know You more, I want to know You more" from the voices the voices of 21,000 all over the arena resounded for more than 15mins straight without any music! That was a glipse of heaven I will never forget. Our hearts were just in surrender to the Lordship of God that brings you to your knees in repentance and in Awe of our Almighty Soveriegn Lord!

Besides the experience of God through the worship. God's presence was very real to us throughout the conference answering us with issues and questions that we were just talking about the night before. E.g on directions and calling in life & Steven Furtick spoke directly about it on the first morning message. I still remember on the thursday night we had a discussion on why we raise our hands in worship, and the next day on Friday morning Louie Giglio gave a long sermon illustration of the theology behind why we raise our hands in worship. I was like... WOW, WOW, WOW! Didn't we just discuss about that the night before. God somehow knew the questions on our hearts. And God spoke to so many of us from the various speakers and I was so encouraged just seeing how God inspired and assured each and everyone of us there.

Another amazing thing I took back from this group was the amazing communal learning & encouragement from everyone as we discussed what we learnt throughout this conference with each other. Especially on the last day of our stay in Sydney, we spent 3 hours that night sharing spiritual matters from our hearts and mutually encouraging one another! And as I was recording each of their sharing for accoutability in the future, I learnt so much from each and everyone sharing that night.

Below are a compilation of selected quotes from the different speakers:

Steve furtick- "Never ready faith in the ever present God", "You are never ever ready,"God doesn't really want to give guidance, He wants to be our Guide!"

Christine Caine- "Compassion is only a word until we cross the street and actually help the needy",
"If our heart is truly change by God, we will catch the heartbeat of God for His people!"

Joyce Meyer- "Be all God want you to be, Be all God want you to do, and be all God want to have",
"Grace will meet you where you are at, Grace will never leave you where you are at.",
"The moment you give yourself up to Him than the Holy Spirit can do his work"

Joseph Prince- "Through our weakness , The abounding grace of God will come even more!"
"The holy of holy, the mercy seat covers the law, Some of us a pushing aside the "mercy seat" to get the law. The Mercy seat is the grace for us", "The same grace that change us will continue to transform us"

Louie giglo - How Great is our God! Worship is our weapon to the enemy!
"It was a weapon of praise that led me out of the darkness and back into the land of the living. It was praise that ripped open that cloud and allowed the light of God's love to shine in and draw me back up into the symphony of all creation"

Chris Mendez- "To be continued filled by him in our everyday life! We all have that supernatural connection to the power of the Holy spirit."

This is a personal note to the members of  "Team Wesley"

Our first of the many Human Pyramid at Royal Botanic Garden :)

It was really great company spending the 10 days with you all in Sydney! And can tell that we had great fun and felllowship as the time just past sooooo fast! Will definitely remember all those crazy things we did there! Doing those human pyramids at random places (Our hostel rooftop, at Royal Botanics & at Blue Mountain! Runnning from place to place! And like what cheryl said "We're really crazy asians, queueing at different doors in the arena". Will miss the company we all had! :)

Anyways I have word for each of you! God has taught me and showed me so much just spending time with each of you. :)

Yunhao, you have been a really great team leader! You have done a fantastic job coordinating and settling all the administrative matters like lodging, flight, conference matters for all of us! And i'm amazed at your influence to gather everyone to come for this conference, even if it means to skip med camp! haha. I can also see that you really desire the best for your small group. Seeing how you encouraged your group members and really taking on the sherperd role for your group is definitely an inspiration to me. :)

Grace, you have definitely been a great blessing to all of us! You mapped out all our travelling plans and coordinated all the R & R stuff for all of us! And I really got to say, i'm so impressed at how you and danette have such a heart of servanthood to wake up so early each morning to make breakfast & packed lunch for everyone when everyone's still a sleep. And your such an amazinggggg cook! Especially to cook carrots that I actually like is quite a milestone for me! Your really quite a smart girl and I believe God is going to continue to use you with the talents he has given you to bless many! :)

Amanda, I'm really encouraged by your passion & hunger for God! I've learnt much from you actually. I truly admire your heart and passion for the lost and your definitely one with so many creative talents, to dance, to sing & even play the guitar. I believe God is going to use you mightly for His Kingdom with the talents & gifts that He has bless you with! And I want to assure you from what Steven furtick said, "God doesn't really want to give guidance He wants to be our Guide". :)

Danette, firstly, thankyou for doing an amazing job rushing out the design for our limited edition, "Team Wesley, goes to hillsong" T-shirt in just 1 day! And i got to say, similarly to grace, I truly admire your heart of servanthood. To be able to wake up so early each morning, to make breakfast/lunch for us and to hold such a huge responsibility being our treasurer. I was truly encouraged by your sharing on how this conference inspired you to want to take back all that you learnt to your usher's ministry and small grp. Can really see your dedication and heart for the ministry that God has place upon your heart! And I believe God has so much more exciting plans install for you ahead! :)

Cheryl, thanks for taking all those wonderful photos! I think you and amanda took more photos than me actually haha! Especially with a photo count of (999). Anyways besides that, can really see your dedication to step up more in your smalll grp as a YSGL now from the conversation I had with you, and is evident that you really desire to find out more about God from the questions that you were asking me.Continue to seek after Him daily and I'm sure you will continue to grow deeper in spiritual maturity! :)

Sarah, your our "most normal" person in our team! haha! I guess your constant laughter is pretty contagious. You certainly bring joy to the team! Besides that, I can tell that you really desire to grow deeper in the faith and i'm encouraged that you have stood firm in your faith even if it means that you are the only christian you possibly know in your campus. Continue to pursue Him more! :)

Mavis, remember our plans to go for trekking and camping at blue mountains next time! haha! Anyways, besides that i believed circumstances has allowed you to grow and mature alot in the past year, being the vice camp commandant for sec1-3 camp, interning in TSS, leading a ysg. Hope that this conference has inspired a flame again that will just increase more and more as you seek after God's heart! I can see that you really desire to take your walk with the Lord seriously and that's really the first step in growing in Spiritual Maturity! :)
