My Journey to Officership!

After 9 long months of having all the tough physical, mental training and certainly being in the best leadership school in Singapore i'm now finally an Officer of the SAF!

Looking back....I started my journey from LEOPARD COY of BMTC...and step into a whole new life in OCS!!! I still remember the huge culture shock i had! And the tough times adapting in the first 3 weeks of confinement as I entered Tango Wing!

Where i got my Freshmen 1 white bar (2 weeks in CLM).... Stayed on in Tango wing for my 2nd white bar (Service Term)...
And after 12 weeks!!!!.....
Got my 3rd white bar and than left for Signal Insitute (SI) where we undergo the Signal Officer Cadet Course (SOCC) (21 weeks in Professional Term) ...
After all the intensive studying and exercises in Signals in pro term! ....
Headed back to OCS to reunite with my old mates from TANGO! This time stayed in Golf Wing (3 weeks) (Joint Term) ...

19 June 2010!!!.... SAFTI PARADE SQUARE, where i remember having dreams of for this very day for the past 9 mths...where right now i finally got my hard earn 1 BLACK BAR! =)

First 2 weeks in OCS....

(CLM-The good friends i met in Tango!!! See we still had the first freshmen white bar!) The next 12 weeks in Service Term...

(SERVICE TERM- The change of appointments! I was than the Cadet Wing Welfare IC
Next 21 weeks in Professional Term (Signal Institute)...

SPEED THROUGH SKILLS!!!!)

3 Weeks of Joint Term! Back to OCS!...

The OFFICER'S CREED!
I am an officer of the Singapore Armed Forces.
