Busyyyy dayy! Headed to national archives in morning, met sam from my course there...after that headed to URA, then we went back all the way to TP for consultation. Right after that headed to my site at zion road, this time met sam from church for assistance with the measurements of the place! Thankssss sam!!!! Won't be able to measure the site on my own!

Anyway right after all those site analysis... rush down to church for precept! Orientation for TITUS!!!!

Rush back home! And rushhhh thru the entire nite doing my hypothesis for submission on thurs! And can't believed i stayed up til 4.30am! ARghhh! THATS BAD! First timeee stayed so lateeee ever sinceee P3!
Need to manage my time better!

Weds!
Few hrs later..work up at 8am! Continued doing my workkk till 3pm! RUSH to SCHOOL! consultation...and than found out lecturer postponed it to FRIDAY!!! WOW! NOW I GOT SO MUCH MORE TIME! The entire thursday to touch up! GOD just keep showering his blessings as i go thru this FYP project for him!

....den TP crusade LM! so glad to meet up with this awesome bunch of Christian community! with wanteng giving a good message on reaching out to the Lost!
80% of the time people are saved through a friendship with someone! We are that living testimony for the Lord!

After that dinner! And wow! This is the firsttt time in agesss since we really had a nice long spiritual conversation over dinner with the other crusaders! And i'm really encouraged to hear such mature conversations from the freshmens especially! Not often we can have such wholesome conversation! Feeling REFRESH! after a sleepy day! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!=)

Gym morning with keith and elliot before heading to the THIRD PLACE to check out 214 which is the name of their youth grp! And got to meet their grp leader mike who is an SP lecturer in ARCHITECTURE! So it was soooooo amazing that his the right person to talk to for my proj too! Since he serve in Third Place and he can give advice for my project too! So the talk with him aid me alottttt in my FYP project! Also discuss with him abt possible plans for my selected site at BB HQ!

(Wesley methodist VS Aldersgate methodist church!... we had a pretty strong team today! With shashi back! and a some friends one an ex Geylang club player who is super good! And a national vice captain for the youth olympics team... and our opponent was the reigning Agape Cup champions! =) )

Was my first site analysis to some of the possible sites that i can use for my FYP...took a bus to new bridge road...walkkkkkkk all the way to the old third place building in outram, then walk to tiong bahru, to bukit ho swee (got lost abit) , then to zion road then havelock road, BB Hq,pass great world city, took a bus to orchard, walk to sommerset, head to SCAPE youth centre talk to the staff and recorded my analysis for the day... and got home pretty tired! what a cool yet tiring day! One of the first time in a veryyyyyyyyy long time im alone outside for such a long periods! Its like super duper rare! Cld be even first time this year alone outside for like 6hrs!

Tp design Director Comm session in morning.. Moses talk certainly felt like some sermon! Although it was more of a motivational talk style! but we cld certainly learn from certain biblical values to it!

Check out some of his points... its like taken from a couple of verses in the bible...

BOLDY CONFESSING my faith! Anyway found out from my classmate that this was actually similar points taken from a sermon at city harvest recently too! haha..im not surprise! But its coool that this is one way of reaching out to everyone in an indirect way)

First thing i want to say a HUGE THANKS to my LORD! So far his abundant grace and blessing just keep coming for me so far for my FYP!... its like his providing sources after sources of information and people to network with for my proj! Its certainly so true that if a project is totally for the LORD ministry... it will never fail! And i really want to thank my bunch of coursemates too! Its really nice to bounce of ideas with them as well as we all help one another in each of our various FYP!... and some cool happenings Joseph,Sam and me were like just playing the guitar and singing some worship songs right in our very own IAD studio! We can have worship anywhere! anytime! And our God really deserved all praise for that! =)

Weds! TP crusade LM!...

Today first LM for the new semester started of with a BANG! We had more than 30 plus coming! And the encouraging thing was God provided many new faces today! Lemme try to recall their names... Amos (another IAD freshmen!) oh yea!, Dominic, Adeline and some who we didnt see in awhile! With 4 RP crusaders coming too! Marcus,Deb,Jerome and Edwin and so happen all of them are oct babies! Especially deb whose birthday was that day itself too!

First day of sch for the new semester! Was really excited to see my coursemates again after not seeing them in more than a mth! Was really excited to share my FYP proj!
Anyways met up with jerry to practice worship too, with nick & jolyn tagging along! Ben& Jerry leading worship this weds crusade LM! hahha!

After that saw some of the design school bands having their rehearsal for some showcasee... and later comparing it with bands playing at the Ben&jerry at The Cathay auditions...

And woahhh the bands here was of a class wayyyy higher! Elliot& josh band(mix from SP& Wesley YM) were awesomeee! They got selected for the showcaseee! A huge supporters grp were there from wesley ym,SP and some others too! And right after that i saw an old stgabs friend who audition right after his band!And his really good too! And not only that... during this time...i met this reallly cool South African guy who was there visiting, found out that his here in singapore to start a church! And further talking to him, his really interested in finding out the christian grps around,especially Singapore poly which was opps his hse, so shared abt Campus crusade to him, and also abit of the things we did at wesley ym! And his actually really interested to drop by! He add on that he was a preacher and his like those "ang mo" kind which im sureeee somehow youths out there wld somehow llike to listen too. This conversation just made my day..really meeting people out there who are just so passionate abt reaching out! =)

The FINAL STRETCH!!!.... FYP!!!!

The FINAL STRETCH!!!.... Final Year Project!
The looooooooong awaited FINAL YEAR PROJECT will start tmr! After 3 yrs in TP Design and going thru all the many modules,project,internship! I have come to the LAST and MOST MAJOR PROJECT of all! And just looking at the final semester! I seriously haveeeeeeee a pretty tight time! Probably the toughest stretch of commitments ahead! With FYP practically like 24/7 everyday... plus almost practically from monday to sunday having back to back crusade& church meetings almost every night, plus PRECEPT and the 5 dayssss a week inductive bible study! And with the sec 1-3 camp comm which after long praying about, decided to commit for it too! And sooo despite the many events ahead! I'm reallly really PUTTING MY WHOLE TRUST to the LORD for the plans he has for me! As i know i can neverrrr do it on my own strength! Which means i must be really GOOD STEWARD of my time ahead! No compromising, no procrastinating and really for me to make the BEST OF EVERY SINGLE time i have for the LORD!
Anyways on a lighter note, i'm actually pretty excited for my FYP project and will definitely give my best for the LORD for this final stretch!!!! =)

But at the end of the day.... please pray for me for the LORD's strength each day! =)

Started of a very nice day by going to outram sec! As some of us like gladwin,stacy,ronda,bala and pastor alvin were assisting some of this people who are train in this new sport TCHOUK BALL...this is really one very interesting SPORT where there is really base on SPORTMANSHIP!TEAM WORK! And its totally NO CONTACT AT ALL! It certainly needs a type of skill to play this too!...So got to learn it with them as well as gave us a chance to make friends with this outram students...a good reaching platform! And personally i believe this is a opportunity for crosstrainers to learn from too! Reaching out to the community level too!!!

After that... Pastor alvin showed us the new Third Place! And it was just nice! As manage to talk to him more abt this Third Place ministry which is in line with what GOD has inspired me to do for my upcoming FYP!!!!

Anyway overall i guess we were all ministered and SPIRITUALLY REFRESHED from todays mini retreat at Foo Chow methodist church...

After dinner... one of the highlights for me is I had the opportunity to have a veryyyy niceeeeeeeeeeee loooooooooooooong 2 hr talk with nick at banana leaf prata place near my hse...and im reallllllllllly soooooooo soooooooooo encourage by him man! You know there is MORE than meet the eye for this unique guy man! He is certainly one who has grown a lot and mature in his thinking over the past yr! And definitely one that i can see a good example of a SPIRIT-FILLED person! He is really bless by God with many unique gifts that can be use for the ministry! Well talking to him at such personal level really encourage me to strive for LIFE TO LIFE DISCIPLESHIP with people like him,john,jem and well somehow donovan too. Although its a HUGE COMMITMENT... this is something close to my heart! Anyways I guess his one of them that although a disciple of mine...he has certainly taught me many things in his life too! Its like we are quite on the SAME PAGE NOW!!! hahha strangeee... but yea! =)

I'm super duper happy today! GOD just continue to blesss me so much! After an awesome time visiting RP crusade LM yesterday!
And today morning...another huge blesssing! It all started from watching GET REAL... and it was showing on low income families with many kids...and i dunno how from that show ....GOD JUST INSPIRED me to do a project for HIM!... It struck me on doing a place similar to The THIRD PLACE! And there are so many issues to work from there! Like linking up with a neighborhood schs like wad third place is doing now! And its something so close to my heart on reaching out to this youths! And its like now i feeel so much for this project bcoz i have of my passion for it too and to add to it so happen Third place is renovating a new place too! And there are so much links of that place to my church! So access to information and resources wont be too hard! GOD just continued to opened up my mind for this proj!!!! CANT WAIT TO START ON IT!

And when i was sharing this proj to matthew lai... who kinda said this is definitely a project to work on! And then was talking to gladwin few mins later.... BOTH said the EXACT SAME THING!

Another awesome PRECEPT class today! This REALLY COOL THING HAPPENED! During the video sermon... Kay arthur mentioned what if God judge america one day like how God judge Egypt and sent famine down... then she add on... maybe a financial crisis might come because of the Sins of people in america! WHEN SHE SAID THAT..... everyone was like WOAHHH! This video is like taken looong ago and she kinda predict the future! Which is HAPPENING RIGHT NOW! She add on a lot more on how we sld be prepared for such circumstances...how we sld invest our money wisely for the LORD...and she shared many practical ways of financial aspect learning from the WORD as well as what Joseph did! It literally blew our minds again! certainly key things to take note especially in economic crisis time like this NOW! hahhah!

The title of my post says it all! With our ALMIGHTY SOVERIGN LORD who is UNCHANGING! ALL POWERFUL! ALL KNOWING! INCOMPREHENSIBLE in ALL SEASONs, be it in our bda times or good times! HE IS THE SAME GOD ALL THIS WHILE! And we are alwaysss ALWAYS in the parameters of His Sovereignty in our life! Whats there left to worry in life? NOTHING! He DESERVE ALL PRAISE even when things arent coming for us! HE HAS A GREAT PLAN for us!

It was certainly our first crusade gathering in a longgggggggggggg time! Eating at this very nice Indonesian restaurant at basement 2. And its such a niceee feeling seeing some of them for the first time in MTHS!!!!!! Really so glad to have Tp crusade being part of my life in this 3 yrs in TP so far! Its just so important to have this bunch of Christian community around you almost thru out the week!

A very shocking thing happened before playing badminton with wenhao at yio chu kang sports hall... there was this bunch of people playing captain ball at the court while we were waitingl...later after the match... this man just suddenly collapsed on the floor infront of our eyes! And later someone had to try to do CPR on him...he stop breathing,...soon after and his face was all blue...even the ambulance that came 5mins later cldnt revive him in time... I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH a thing ever! But it really led wenhao and me to pray for that man. . . Life on Earth really is short... i really do not know if he is still a live? Or even saved? But .... the only thing we can do now...is to MAKE THE BEST OF OUR TIMES ON EARTH FOR OUR LORD! And........... make sure we are assured of our Salvation!

INTENSIVE GYM session with the kelong guys! Followed by doing some house visiting! Drop by isaac hse...played some PS 2... after that visited vyan place and then we took a bus down to church for service...followed by small grp bible study!!! What a nice saturday but tiring day..... =)

After a good centralized teaching by Gladwin on Paul's Philosophy of life...

Met up with matthew lai to discuss some design issues for my upcoming final year project! Really thank him for all those insightful advice!!!

After that join the sensibles small grp for bible study...and lunch with them at this SUPER NICE DIM SUM restaurant at Sunshine plaza... Victor's house! yummmyyyyyy...but we ordered until we kinda bust our budget! oppps!

Dreaming with God!(the Lord revealed his thoughts to me)
I'm totally SPIRITUALLY REFRESH today!... God just revealed his mysterious purpose in my life one after another! And it all started by attending the WORLD WIDE DAY OF PRAYER at the crusade HQ... Its really a time of just being ministered by God as the Forerunners led us in worship followed by a very insightful message by Pastor Tan Kay Kiong mentoree of the well-know Rev Edmund Chan....and somehow THEY REALLY SPEAK A LIKE! Seems like its quite true that u will become like ur mentor! HAHAH!...after that prayer stations,we end off with a prayer session with Mrs Lai kheng from Love Singapore! Another passionate person for Christ in Prayer!

Anyway the theme was LED BY THE SPIRIT! And i really want to share how God revealed to me during the prayer stations.... first led to righteousness station... after cleansing my soul, and being right with God...God led me to the station of Dreams & Destiny!...

I read thru the section of dreams & destiny...and during this whole time i had great anticipation that God will do something in this time of seeking him! With this really anointed worship leader in that room leading in free worship..plus the quiet cool environment... it helps with the personal reflective upon God! And well... nothing happen initially.... so i just prayed and prayed... And God just said BE STILL...and LISTEN!... slowly but surely he start revealing thoughts into me! initially i dunno if its just my own thoughts...so i just jot it down what ever that came...i became to realize.... this are actually thoughts from GOD to me!

"To excel in where God has place me in now,and not to worry about my future".."For He has Greater Plans for me...He will reveal it to me part by part"... further on ... "The Lord is the Creator of Dreams".... The next few parts are a little more personal in my thoughts of calling in life... what i can say is.... its into "ministry" side...but where? marketplace?Church?Campus?... The Lord did impressed certain desires in my heart to be inclined in a particular area... People who know me will know... but i was questioning if its just my self-centered desire? Or God placing that desire in me?... I won't want to just take the easy way out....soon after i flip to Isaiah 26... a certain phrase struck me... in verse 8... i dun want to take it out of context..but the words "desire of our hearts" led me to a particular passage in Psalms 37....

"Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD;trust in him and he will do this. Psalm 37:3-5"

From here on...the thoughts began to crystallize... phrase of "From the Inside out" came into my mind... inferred it in a way I believe is the desires that God place in my heart and a DREAM(or vision) just cameee! I wrote it down of what i interpret that phrase to mean into the dream or destiny that God has impressed closely in my heart.... i won't say it publicly what exactly that dream is yet.. but will definitely need assurance and confirmation from Godly leaders and of COURSE GOD to give me the GO AHEAD to pursue to that calling... and you KNOW WHAT...

As i wanted to write more after you see the page of my thoughts filling up totally...i turn over to Hoping to continue with spaces...AND THE Phrase "DREAMING WITH GOD" STRIKE MY HEART!(see pamphlet below) Although i briefly saw that in the front page initially i didnt take much into consideration and didn't read the extract yet... UNTIL NOW!.... YOU GOT TO READ IT!!!!

PLEASE READ IT...i was personally BLOWN AWAY!...He change my desire to HIS desire with daily communion with Him! And adding on to that...he gave us as Christians the authority in His name, that we can pray into his Will and i know HIS PLANS, WILL always BE DONE!...we become part of the canvas for Him to paint! Amazing right! Co-labourers with Him in His master plan for planet Earth..Our dreams are not independent from God. but instead exist because of GOD. He lays out the agenda- On earth as it is in Heaven-and then releases us to run with it and make it happen!")

But as it is written: “ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

The looooooooooong awaited SPIRITUAL RETREAT!!!! This is one retreat where there was no plans or agenda! And wherever the spirit leads we do! And WOW there was sooooooo much to take back in this 3 days here in this slow pace life WHERE WE JUST IMMERSED OURSELVES in GOD's INDESCRIBABLE CREATION!... enjoy the journey!

(Glenn and me played badminton with them on land.... one of the guys literally climbed up the coconut tree and brought those fresh coconuts for us! So touched by them!.. this malays are christians who are missionaries and english tutors to the village nearby)

We sat in the sampan and they drove us to this VERY NICEEEE CLEAR BEACH!...

Dinner...

After that...we notice the SKY WAS SO CLEAR! And it was WOAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Filled with stars!

(so we went to this secluded DARK DARK area... where we carefully drag our chairs to the edge of the kelong walkway to see the clear sky! It was scary walking there in pitch black but the BEAUTIFUL STARS BLEW OUR MIND!)

(this are not actual photos...BUT it look like this! Trillions more than this! And you know WHAT,... i saw not 1 not 2 ....BUT 8 SHOOTING STARS in one night! WE WERE ALL IN AMAZEMENT!!!! They were SOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY! HOW OFTEN CAN U SEE SUCH THINGS! God's creation really blew our mind just contemplating looking up to the night sky!...

Final night sharing...
After the night gazing..the holy spirit led us all into this time of sharing on Spiritual warfare thru the conversations we had... Adriel than felt led to share with us some practical ways on how we can deal with such circumstances if it happens to us...and right after that we just prayed and prayed from our families to the youth ministry and to what ever the Spirit led! It was really a time where we all just cld experience GOD in our midst and the PEACE of GOD just came upon each and everyone of us after this spiritual time with out Lord!


After that we headed to the the edge of the kelong to spend the rest of the final night there...and balota was playing Chris tomlin song INDESCRIBABLE...and it was so timely the song with what we were experiencing there first HAND! ..The highlight of the night for me!)

DAY 3

(a glimpse of GOD's glory!............Look at the right picture. The island can be seen however, both sides are blurred. Both sides are actually curtains of rain. PRAISE GOD FOR HIS WONDERS.)

(we end the final day with a morning worship with the indonesian malays there...whom we found are all 2nd generation christians! We were definitely so bless by their hospitality and it was really TRULY VERY HEARTFELT time when they led us into worship..although we find it hard to converse with them in english..but when we sang the christian songs together! IT JUST UNITED US IN CHRIST! What an amazing time!...they later shared how they hope that God can use them as they reach out to the nearby villages when they tutor those kids!)

(we spend some time praying for them as God can continue to use them in their mission work for our LORD!)

It was certainly one memorable Retreat that i will never ever forget!
