There are New Every Morning!

Spent my entire night thinking about all the researched that I have typed out the entire afternoon for my NT paper which are apparently all gone (somehow my autosaverecovery didn't work :/). Woke up this morning still mulling about it and it came to my mind that I can choose to remain being downcast or I can still thank God for the beautiful morning and still Praise him. And the Lord impressed this beautiful passage from His Word as I was pondering about this situation!

Lamentations 3:22-26"22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.23 They are new every morning;great is your faithfulness.24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;therefore I will wait for him.”25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,to the one who seeks him;26 it is good to wait quietlyfor the salvation of the Lord."

Spiritual Formation in Christ if for the Whole Life and the Whole Person

Morning Read of "The Great Omission", Chapter 6-Spiritual Formation in Christ if for the Whole Life and the Whole Person
"The transformation of character comes through learning how to act in concert with Jesus Christ. Character is formed through action, and it is transformed through action, including carefully planned and grace-sustained discipline. To enter the path of obedience to Jesus Christ - intending to obey him and intending to learn whatever I have to learn in order to obey him is the true path of spiritual formation or transformation. Looking Like Jesus

Morning Read of "The Great Omission", Chapter 4- "Looking Like Jesus" by Dallas Willard...

The goal of this christian life to grow in Spiritual Formation is like this "Golden Triangle"

1. Faithful acceptance of everyday problems.

2. Interaction with God's Spirit in and around us.

3. Spiritual Disciplines. These are special activities, that many engaged in by Jesus himself, such as solitude and study, service and secrecy, fasting and worship.
"When we accept moment-to-moment events and tribulations as the place where we receive God's provision, we patiently anticipate the action of His Spirit in our lives. In hope, we do our best to find and implement the ways in which our inner self can take on the character of the children of the Highest. This is the path of radical change- change sufficient to meet the needs of the world and prepare a people to be the habitation of God."- Dallas Willard
