Its was another busyyy yet eventful weekend! as i juggle between FYP and church stuff!

Friday!
Headed to NSRCC aka Safra Changi Resort in the evening for marcus & clarrissa birthday party!
Anddd the coooool thing was! The last 3 times i came here over the past 3 yrs... I realiseee i have been going to the SAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EXACT LOT! Lot 34 in this compound! How coincidence is that!


(the same Lot 34, i been the last 3 times here!, first a class chalet in 2005, than a crusade retreat in 2006 and now heree again! HAHHA! And now its renovated into a SUPER NICE CHALET!!! The interiors are AMAZING!)

A really good message by Pastor Alvin on "FIREPROOFING YOUR FAITH", and so happened his message that day was exactly what our small grp has been going thru! 1 Kings 16-19

1. Learn To Trust in God
2. Make a choice and stick by it
3. Cultivate a lifestyle of prayer thats the only way to know God

And the MOST IMPORTANT POINT!
We MUST HAVE A PROPER PICTURE OF GOD!
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." Ephesians 3:20

Another nicee day in school! Its always so nice to just meet up with my friends in sch nowadays! From the interesting conversations we have, and how we help one another in our FYP proj! Also had a nice chat with a couple of my lecturers at the canteen, and somehow u can really see that some how they are just like us too! HAHA! likeee how they joke with one another and all that, only thinggg they are much older and with of coursee A WHOLE LOT of experience before them! But it was niceee getting to know them better and also talking "some nonsense" with them! haha!

I'm SO SOO SOOO HAPPYY!!! Very happy and nostalgic day! =D

I guess it started from my consultation in sch, its one of the rare timesss i actually had my proj complimented by a lecturer! So i guess that boost my morale at the start! Finallyyy after 3 yrs in TP DESIGN! I kindaaa get a hang of wad really architecture is abt! Abittt slow for me! But yeaa! There's still so much to learntttttt!

Ok...anyways... back to the HAPPY HAPPENINGS!...
After the fun time in the studio..headed for CRUSADE! whereee nick had a debut sharing session! As he gave us an AUTHENTIC inspiring MESSAGE! Really proud of him! Its like one by one my disciples are learning to preach and lead oready! hahha! =P

After that a nicee HAPPY DINNER TIME!...

Had a niceeee long good chat with wenhao abt his FYP project on the way back from the bus and than walking to potong pasir bus stop...and I actually FELT SO EXCITED for him too as i read his script UNFOLDING! He shared with me his developed concept AND IT ACTUALLY BLEW MY MIND...and that even led to a chill of goosebumps that suddenly went up my hand! Dunno why! BUT it came after hearing the CLIMAX of his script! And than his bus 13 came!!!

ANDDDDD then this skinny dude, with curly hair tap my back as he boarded that same bus as wenhao! AND IT WAS my PRIMARY 4 BEST FRIEND KEITH NEUBRONNER!!!!!!!!! He was behind us the whole while but he didn't want to intrude our conversation... so i decided to give him a call and wowwww it was one of the bestttt CHAT i had in a looooooong time! THE SAME OLD KEITH MAN! REALLY VERYY NOSTALGIC conversation as we reminiscence the days where he will come my hse and all the crazy stuff we did since pri sch days! And even the times when he trick me so much in pri 4 and believe all those stories from him having a twin at birth that died to him going up to Michael Schumacher to say Hi to him!! Really amusing as i think back those times! and WOW its likeee even though his in TP now too, we rarely see each other, but whenever we bump into each other in thoseee LONG WHILES we just got SOOOOOOOOO MUCH TO TALK STILL!!!!
I guesss this are those REALLY REALLY GOOD FRIENDS out thereeee who really knows u EVEN though we dun like hang out anymoreee but still can click wheneverrr! What a day to end!!! =D =D =D= D

It was oneeeee long day in the Design Space as we went thru the rest of the IAD cohort presentation and critique session! In the end we finished at 2- 8pm!!!
And right after that rush down all the way to church for YM Comm meeting!

Back to back meetings! From a very productive camp planning meeting with the Xts..to mlm,small grp...

After that rush down for MLM... and wow its one of my most enjoyable MLM session so far, as PTM Paul Satari gave a veryyy exciting insightful engaging session on "POST-MODERNISM", and why it got me pretty excited abt it as not too long ago did a 2000 word essay on that too! So it manage to get a new interesting perspective of this veryyy COMPLEX UNDEFINABLE term!

After that a nice small grp time! And next day! BUSY BUSY BUSY sunday again!
Nice to meet asriel and his friend mel as they visited wesley ym!
Oh well! Really trusting the Lord in taking me thru this busy mth ahead with FYP,Crusade and Church retreat and camp coming!.. so overwhelming that I even dreamt of them all in the same dream over the weekend! hee =P

600 Post... Discovery Weekend....

600 Post... Discovery Weekend....
Usually i will be doing something special for my special posts! Like this 600 one! Butt... Since its FYP... not much time...so will just briefy share some of my taking home points from this Crusade Discovery Weekend.."Finding Our calling"
And one summary i can take back from this is OBEDIENCE..Am i Willing? There is a price to pay, there are major adjustments to be made, there are blessings in Obedience.

Some guided principles to discern God's will for our lives

A) God's guidance requires our internationality to seek God (thru the Word and Prayer)
B)God's guidance is known if we avoid certain pitfalls
Pitfall 1: Fleshy Desires
Pitfall 2: Reliance on human counsel rather than God
Pitfall 3: Impatience
Pitfall 4: Doubting God
C)God's guidance is clarified when we are aware of our godly desires (Psalms 37:4)
(I like this point as this is the verse which God has revealed to me in my seeking of His calling in my life and it was the exact verse that we were talking the night before with some of the RP guys)
D)God's guidance is clarified through godly counsel
E)God's guidance is clarified through providential circumstances

Questions to ask:
1) Do you trust that God's plans for you are good?
2) How much do you desire to see the will of God accomplished in your life?
3) Are you willing to pay the price to see God glorified?

In conclusion, Seeking God is a process, give our first fruits to God, which also means give our best years to God when we are young. =)

Got home from retreat.... a short nap...headed to church with Jem for a 5pm service! And really enjoyed and felt for that message by pastor alvin, as it is a message close to my heart on evangelism and witnessing! And one thing i think i can really take back is the term "back-end of evangelism" ... have you wondered why many people out there may have first accepted Christ? than after that backslided? its easy to share but is its not easy to follow up? well i guess thats when actually the church comes into the picture when theres that loving community of Christian support to actually welcome this new converts around... anyway overall this message really made me pondered too that, its really true that church today don't really do much evangelism? But really going out there! Too reach out to the lost!

Anyways after that met some people at THE CATHAY to catch elliot and josh band "GROUNDED" at ben & Jerry!

After church had 2 back to back meetings, XT retreat youth games planning and Sec1-3 Camp comm planning! After that did precept..... and found out after on my way home from ywca that my wallet was missing! So i trace back my steps to the pantry and the YWCA Rooms at lvl 8 but still cldnt find...did a short prayer..and called andrew and elliot! And wow found out that andrew had mistook it as i left it on the same table they were at, and not only that they actually left abt 3 hrs ago but somehowww they were only just abt to leave somewhere near church in a cab still! So i really THANK GOD again for that answered prayer even though its a small thing to him but it still mattered and well i got it back within 15mins!... 599 Post!!!!

Oh wow its the 599 Post!!!!
FYP so far has been pretty good! God's grace has still continued to fall for me! Its like the ideas and plans just keep coming for me! And truly i feel it can never be my own work at all but its a DIVINE help up there! =P

Well besides FYP, below was part of my Quiet time today! And wow... it certainly was too timely! It really meant a lot to me especially now. God certainly know how to test my Faith huh! hee =P.... It's been an "interesting" week, i'm being quite ambiguous as i'm trying to use an optimistic word to describe it, but I really thank people out there like my Crusade Dg mates and classmates like sam and jinhe who has been a great support for me this week. =)

OH well will be away on Friday night at this DISCOVERY WEEKEND at BB HQ!!! Really hope this retreat for the all the graduating crusade students of finding our Calling in life will provide clearer direction for me! =)

Today ran with my course mates and lecturer for the TP CAMPUS RELAY RUN! the second year me participating in this!

The race begins.......... the 1.5km x 7 run! ... I ran in slightly less than 5mins... My thighs hurt pretty bad after the "SPRINT"... its insaneeee run!

Anyway just heard from my crusade staff that next friday to saturday there will be a retreat on discovering our Calling in life! certainly something i would want to go! AND JUST FOUND OUT itsss at BB HQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOWWWWW COINCIDENCE IS THAT!!!! The exact place that i have been analysising inside out for the past week for my FYP! And now going to be staying in there itself! =)
