Be in the right environment!
I just feel constantly refresh the last few days, as from Wednesday to today,I had many opportunities to be with passionate Christians!Its really so encouraging each day just having edifying conversations and sharing our life with passionate Christians! Just like Pastor Jeremy Seaward message about how people in "red chair" or "green chair" are people who always place themselves in an environment where there is place for growth or where the FIRE can just continue to ignite stronger and stronger! (see 3 post ago)
And like in yesterday YM GAP, it was so encouraging to see so many youths really stepping up and making time each friday nights to come to church to pray for the ministry! And like the prophecy for our youth ministry 5 yrs ago... "The leaders need to unite together in prayer"...And thats where REVIVAL can happened!... And yesterday was like us being part and living out God's promised for YM!... youths who are stepping up to be leaders, different sub-min heads and other leaders in YM and committed youths just coming together in UNITY and just praying their hearts out for the ministry was really one awesome sight!
And today! just came back from a combined session from the 2 bible study grps of God's clay, we decided to have a prayer and worship time! And i just want to say that i'm like EXHILARATING with JOY and EXCITEMENT in my heart right now! I'm really so glad to see how God's clay have grown over the years and fellow grp mates who have step up and risen so much! And the sharing we had really just gave us this Joy from the LORD that is likeeee burning in my heart still... Woahh! GOD is really so amazing!
In our whole Christian life, we really need to be constantly in an environment where this FIRE and PASSION for the LORD will not only keep on growing but to ignite much stronger! And we can't do it alone! We need each other! And i THANK GOD SO MUCH for placing this small grp God's clay in my life! This are people whom i really see being future leaders in various areas our Lord has called us to be! =)

Last TP crusade Life meeting for the term!
Some of the fun things we do in our life meetings! We had a bunch of RP crusaders and friends joining our LM today.. about 30 odd ppl came...
(we played this cool jackpot forfeit game... thats Jerome grp doing a forfeit! the chicky dance! haha!)

Really had one good time today... i'm just so encourage by everything that went on today... with 2 crusade freshmens jolyn and jerry leading worship today despite them only on their 4th week here... and with joelle and me given the chance to share a message the past 2 weeks(a first for TP crusade students in recent yrs)...
And today got to know a very enthu Christian freshmen, its just so encouraging to meet so many passionate Christians from different schs, different churches and denomination, and getting to know how different church service and style works from the very traditional baptist,bible presbyterian, brethren to the methodist, presbyterian, charismatic and even pentecostal. Here in TP crusade we really get the opportunity to meet with Christian from all over...and having edifying conversations abt our Christian Faith and getting to know each other opinions on different religious issues really broaden one perspective of Christianity. And all in all, although we are from different Christian background... we still Served and Worship the same LORD which Unites us all together! Thats something very encouraging which i see in TP campus crusade! =)

A very impactful testimony on a muslim convert!
It really shows how MAGNIFICENT and REAL our MIGHTY LORD is to anyone in this world.
Video testimony of a devout Muslim, named Afshin Ellian, a member of Hezbollah, who found Jesus Christ (or rather, whom Jesus came to in his hour of heartfelt need)! It is a testimony that rings so true, and reveals the way that our loving God works to bring every soul to salvation and peace, to the knowledge of Him, and joy.

Today Combined Service was jam packed with events! With Project Christ Walk as well as one of wesley ym favorite guest preacher coming again! And its none other done Pastor Jeremy Seaward!
Heard that todays attendance was nearly close to 500 youths!
Anyway felt todays message was very relevant and good for our ministry right now!

RED CHAIR- Represent someone PASSIONATE FOR GOD! ON FIRE for GOD! And Stays in places where THE FIRE KEEPS GOING! (Personally i really feel that all Christians sld intentionally choose to be in this kind of environment that will help our fire for GOD to grow brighter and stronger each day, with places where we can get that continual encouragement from good Christian friends around we can keep ourselves on that RED CHAIR!!
GREEN CHAIR- Represents growth in Christ! Abiding in Christ! Stay in the right environment where growth can occur, for example thru discipleship!
GREY CHAIR- This represents neither hot nor cold and i believed me youths out there fall in this area..where they just feel so comfortable that one may call them "luke warm" christians... they may have accepted Christ BUT...they don't grow in the Faith but stay in compromise! This are so called christians who are in danger of going to the BLACK CHAIR... which is....
BLACK CHAIR- Absence of light! Christ is not in their life....

After his impactful message there was an altar call... and as i was sitting at the back i took a peek infront and i saw many hands raise when he challenge those who feels that they are in the grey chair...And i was very encourage to see so many youths wanting to commit to our Lord to go to the red and green chairs!From the back....u can see everything thats happeing infront... after that altar call... hundreds and hundres of youths just flooded to the front to make that commitment to the Lord! Its like nearly 4/5 of the whole ball room of youths was convicted by the HOLYS SPIRIT... Issac and me was at the back as we just sense this mutual joy seeeing so many youths in YM really willing to step up in FAITH for our LORD! Im still in FULL FAITH THAT REVIVAL IS COMING to wesley ym sooooooooon!!!! =)

HILLSONG UNITED in Singapore!!!!!!!
Just realised this week alone i broke a personal record for exercising in a week...Somehow i gym 4 times and ran 3 times in one week alone! Including a back to back gym session on friday and another on saturday with adriel,glenn and gladwin at adriel's club gym.
Anyway this weekend has been pretty exciting and packed!
Hillsong UNITED youth concert was awesome! It certainly made me satisfied at the end of the day... at the start i was really concern that i didn't want this to feel like some rock concert as it seem very so at the start... but i kept praying that i want to meet God here..and im so glad that the worship leader in hillsong even said himself that this sldnt be a concert but a place to meet with GOD! And INDEED just being in the presence of so many passionate on FIRE Christians when we were worshiping God together really was one awesome sight! It actually seem like wad heaven is like! With everyone raising up their hands to our SOVEREIGN LORD with continual worship non stop!
And its like literally all my all time favourite songs was played that nite! After the long worship session was over.... i thought it was over..when suddenly the worship leader said... Its only the beginning! AND THEN ALL THE CLASSIC ALL TIME HILLSONG FAVOURITE songs was being played!!! SALVATION IS HERE! TAKE IT ALL! WHAT THE WORLD WILL NEVER TAKE! TELL THE WORLD! ONE WAY! and soooo many more!
I really hope that the fire ignite in those youths and souls saved that night will stay on in them forever! And that will be my prayer for them! Although there were youths from different churches..i pray from my heart that each of them will bring that fire back to their church and spread it to the rest of their friends! =)

TREASURES...Wear it on!
Yesterday for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE i did something i never done before! And that was to share a message to the crusaders! Although i have shared my testimonies before, or led lesson in small grps... but I have never did anything like "preach" a message of about 40mins. It was actually an exciting experience as i took 1 mth ever since i was challenge by my staff to prepare for this day... and well... below are the outline of my message i hope to share with u all too! And glenn my DGL recorded the whole message on Video! Can't imagine how is like to view back my sharing...
Continuation from welcome tea 2008.... about wheres our treasures...
Scripture- Colossians 3:12-16
1) The Treasures that we should wear on
12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
These are virtues which as Christians and God chosen people we should wear on. Each one of the qualities mentioned in this passage express themselves in relationships. A significant measure of our Christian life is found simply in how we treat people and the quality of our relationships with them.
13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Bearing with each other… Be it in Sch or church there are bound to be ppl where its hard to work with or we are just at different frequency, but I’ve learnt the importance of submitting to one another. Especially in Christian ministry.
“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” Ephesians 5:21
When we consider the staggering debt Jesus forgave for us, and the comparative smallness of the debts others have toward us, it is base ingratitude for us to not forgive them (as in the parable Jesus spoke in Matthew
By forgiving others you are actually removing bagges and issues in your life, so it actually supposedly to help you.
2) Love is the greatest treasure to wear on
14And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It's your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it. (From the Message bible. paraphrase)
“All the virtues listed in vv.12,13 are, on the highest level, manifestations of love; but love is larger than any one of them, indeed, larger than all of them combined.” (
Deuteronomy 6:5: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." This, Jesus said, was the first and greatest commandment.
Jesus volunteered the second, which emanated from the first. He again quoted Scripture, going to Leviticus 19:18: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
3) The Treasure of Peace
15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
People have always say that “Peace” is a standard for discerning God’s will… I never really understand fully what’s that until I experience that very strange inner peace from Christ myself…
Testimony on peace: It all started in early January, where a team of us had to plan a big event for the youth ministry of about 250 youths. We were praying for a location to have this event, and we had a few options in mind, but we didn’t know where God wanted us to use. So we prayed and we just tried a recce for the first option Pulau Ubin. Took a bum boat there and we saw this rainbow! We were amazed by and wondering, is this a sign from God? Could this be the place God promise us. (Share a bit about rainbow as a promise from God)
It was about to rain, but God just held the rain when we touch down. And God revealed to us so much in our recce there, he directed us to this very exotic compound deep inside ubin where there was this very nice resort with the World’s largest freshwater fish. And soon we were like we should use this place; it’s in a control area.
But our main concern was how are we going to transport the 200 plus youths to here, its going to take forever to transport this big number in bum boats and it’s a deep walk into this compound, but God then revealed to us ferries that go directly here. And soon enough we literally bum into the boss of this place where we then settled our business.
We ask if we can use this place for an event for 200 plus youths and he told us we he can settle everything like transport of two 72 seater ferries, buffet lunch and all we need is to bring the people. He told us the cost after counting per pax and it add up to like $24 000. And our budget was like only $7000. He said he will try his best to reduce to our means, and wow it was just settled on that day.
Well, if you thought everything was perfect, trials after trials started coming in. The devil did all it could to bring us down.
The amazing BREAK THROUGHS!
Break Through 1- Second recce 17 Feb 2008- We called the manager of ubin resort, shocked us with a huge cost of $18 000, our team gathered to pray, call again on same day. Somehow God help us to bring it down to $10 000.
Breakthrough 2- We shared it with the Comm, but the event was still too expensive as the guy initially wanted a minimum $10k. After much discussion, the core went ahead.
Breakthrough 3 – We called for a prayer meeting a week before the event. But before praying we had to discuss some logistics stuff with the boss from ubin resort. We called the boss and he was away on leave for a week, and than the assistant told us the ferries broke down... (few days later realize they cheated us from the start..they never had any two 72 seater ferries)
We decided to cast all those worries aside and just pray…and wow, God gave us this very strong inner peace and assurance and many revelations while praying.
God revealed this verse to me few days before this prayer meeting…I was stress out with my sch proj and settling this event… so I stop everything and just open my bible hoping to find a verse for encouragement….and IMMEDIATELY…
"Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. Romans 4:20, 21"
Breakthrough 4-
Breakthrough 5 – Realized few days later that the ferry was too big and the port can’t fit in, they found 2 smaller 150 seater ferry for us but they still needed a port to fit a ferry of that size and to build a port will take at least a 1-2 week ,and the core team told us that we might need to change venue as it was only just few days before the event. But somehow when I heard the news, God’s PEACE still continued to fill my heart that I somehow knew this event that God promised us will still happen! And indeed… the next day… God provided the port arrangements.
Breakthrough 6 – On actual event date… it rain before as we were there early during preparation, but our FAITH were so strong as the PEACE of GOD continued to fill our hearts, that we KNEW NO DOUBT that God will hold back the rain when the event start. We prayed and INDEED GOD was faithful again...and he HELD the rain immediately once the youths arrive! …on the return journey in the ferry to mainland
Breakthrough 7- After the event, the chairman of our youth ministry and the fulltime staff met up with the manager about the trouble he cause us. And by God’s grace we got another 10% discount on the total price! So we went way within our budget of about $6000 after all the reduction from the last few days…. Its so amazing how GOD showed us his awesome power and a PEACE from him that it’s hard to describe.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6,7
And because of God’s revelation through the Word that dwelled in us, we had that peace that transcends all understanding…
4) Let the treasure of the Word dwell in you
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
The Word is so important, if we want to know God deeper, if we want our Faith to grow; we need to read the WORD. There’s so much new insights you can get reading it over and over again… similar to how I got insights from this passage the more I dwell and meditate on it for the last mth.
“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17
You will than be given wisdom to teach others as well as to admonish others (which is to speak the truth in Love)
Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs: This variety suggests that God delights in creative, spontaneous worship.
So this shows that there isn’t any right or wrong type of songs that pleases God in our worship to him, you see there are the conservative type who prefer to sing hymns, the charismatic type who sing fast songs like from planet shakers or hillsong and than there are others who just like Christian contemporary like Jars Of Clay.
Heard from a preacher once that, you know we can have that continual worship in our heart when ever and where ever, and one practical example is like for those who like listening to ipod and mp3, instead of always hearing secular music, why not just hear Christian music that will edify the Spirit in us. For example, my ipod alone has 90% Christian songs. And it’s very edifying to hear them at times like on the bus or times alone. It gives this continual worship singing in our hearts.
Questions to challenge…
As we all know we need to wear clothes at home or outside, this Clothes that we need to wear on are really treasures of God, so we should intentionally wear these treasures on where ever we are!
Are we wearing this type of Clothes now?

After LM..rush back.. wash up..and met some old stgabs friends to watch the Champion league final... it was one long 3 hrs DRAMATIC FINAL! Came back abt 6am!
I was getting sleepy during extra time..but the penalty shoot kept me WIDE AWAKE! It was one of the MOST DRAMATIC ones i have seen for 12 years ever since i watch my first soccer match! After ronaldo miss the penalty i almost lost hope! and when John terry took the final kick for chelsea... to win the match! HE MISSED! The whole coffee shop in hougang area was OVERWHELM with excitement! And man utd came from behind to WIN after Van der sar save Anelka penalty! 1-1 (man utd win 6-5 after penalty shoot out!)

3 Types of Exercise!..... RUN! GYM! SHOP!
Today was another exciting 2nd day of my holiday!!!!
Met up with some of the crusade guys for lunch in TP design canteen, had a nice time getting to know some of the new freshmens.
After that rush down to bishan...
Met up with vyan... decided to go for a quick 2.4km run first before gym.... And i manage to beat my Saturday timing of 11.40mins to 11.17mins today! 23 secs faster! But still much to improve this 2 weeks! Still need to get under 10!!! sighh... had a nice gym work out and then decided to follow vyan and his neighbour who join us to give some "shopping "advice as we went shopping in town for clothes for him.
Had an early dinner at 5 at fish & co at wheelocks place... our journey began..from wisma, to takashimaya,to far east plaza to lido and than back to wisma again! We went to like almost every male clothes shop in Far East lor!
And wow! Originally i didn't plan to buy any thing at all..BUTTTT somehow! After being "force" to try out this stripe polo-T from at Giordano in Taka... i actually started to like it! And suddenly i was part of this shopping spree too! Now need a change in my wardrobe! Now i know why girls like shopping! It was quite cool as vyan and me tried a bunch of different sets, and his neighbour judging and choosing for us. Seems like girls have better taste than guys! hahah!
but wow! It was sure tiring..walking and walking for 3 hours plus straight all the way until the shops close at 930pm!!!! I think this is like the first time in MY LIFE i actually went thru a REAL shopping experience of going from shop to shop looking for the best buys! hahha! =)In the end i got a very nice polo-t and a nice shirt! for less than $50 combined!

PAINT BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today was one eventful first day HOLIDAY! For the first time in my life got the taste of what PAINT BALL is like! It was so AWESOMELY FUN!!!!! A bunch of us from YM, third place and some friends of Ian came together for this mega PAINT BALL FIGHT at orchid country club! Abt 22 of us althogther! Forming 5 teams!
I was in Team 5! Comprising of moonie, steven,KC and Eugene...and we were The UNDEFEATED CHAMPION in the round robin stage! won all of our matches 4 out of 4 rds against 2 teams... and i got the crate 3 times...pretty tiring sprinting getting that crate to the base. But felt that actually just camping and shooting was more fun than going for the mission objective which was to shoot down 2 targets before getting the crate.
After the round robin stage... it was the DREAM TEAM against the League champion TEAM 5!
That special match was an UNMISSION game, we just needed to shoot our opponents..first hit goes to medic, second hit..opponent goes over to opposing team... in the end we kinda lost that... and we end of with a ONE on ONE battle..after random choosing...
I had to FACE OFF with Yangshen on the SAME side of the arena! That match was pretty exciting... found out yangshen when out of bullets and i was still unknowing abt that! Anyway it was one FUN fellowship on that HOT morning! Worth the 50 bucks!

Imagine 5 peopleee at the back and with steph and soe dancing to the music "BREAK FREE" INSIDE the car! oh gosh! Steph's hair was like ALL OVER MY FACE!
After lunch...
Met up with shawn and charles as we headed to meridian to play BATTLEFIELD 2! Not a very LAN person! But after today PAINTBALL! another action of WAR GAME wassss tempting! From real action to computer! hahah!

Had a nice dinner at carl's junior! And so coincidently bump into Ethel,Jas and Yan on the way out of PS... so pretty timely they were going back too...so went back with ethel after that... WHAT AN EVENTFUL DAY! =)

FINALLY!!! Its the HOLIDAYS!!!!
Saturday!
Right after my last day of work met up with elliot and randy to gym at bishan! Its been a long while since i really had such an intensive work out! And after gym decided to try a 2.4km run at the track... infact this is the first time i did a 2.4 km sinceee sec 4! nearly 3 yrs! As normally now i wld do 5-10km runs. So i was thinking if i can do 10km easily, den 2.4km i sld get under 10 mins right! BUT wow! I was wrong! After not running for more than a mth ever since working.. i kinda lost my fitness! And i did a horrible time of 11.40mins! ARGHH! i wont use the tiredness from gym as an excuse! But by the end of this 2 weeks! I will guarantee i will get under 10mins! going to be really improve on my fitness this 2 weeks!

My most prepared message ever!!... oh yeaaa and my long awaited PAINT BALL BATTLE TMR!!!! whahhahaa! =)

Its the LAST day of my Internship!
Its the LAST day of my Internship!
Finally after 8 weeks of interning at the company WHITE SPACE LIVING, i can finally have my first holiday since december! A well deserved 2 weeks break to catch up on my fitness! Hahha!=)
Anyway im going to miss my colleagues in this company. They are really very nice people! And i'm very fortunate to have 2 very nice bosses which i heard are rare. They really go the extra mile to teach you and im glad to have met this people. Well... i can proudly say in this 8 weeks here alone, i may have learnt more than my 2 yrs in Tp design. As there are so many things expose to the real working world that we don't get to see or learn in a school setting. And it was just so timely of my arrival in this company, heard from my boss that i'm the only fortunate intern from the past years to have gone thru and be part of almost the whole process of this major hotel project they are doing, from the initial detailing, to the material board, to the preparation of tender documents and yesterday was the final collection of all the documents prepared. Despite the long hours of a design life, i guess it was well worth my 8 weeks here. =)
Actually to think back my main mission actually was to share the gospel at my workplace, and well i thank God for giving me the opportunities to share it with almost half my colleagues in this company thru out this 8 weeks! Will be praying that this seed planted in them will grow in the future. =)

Global Day Of Prayer (GDOP) 2008
This day was so timely with what God has been revealing to me... its like on sunday i came to hear that there are many other ymers who saw this same vision of YM where God impressed upon me last friday... we as one body of Christ really needs to be in united in prayer if we want to see things happening in YM. And Sandy last sermon yesterday really came quite timely reminding the ymers abt the PROMISE which God revealed to us 5-6 yrs ago! Imagine if all 400-500 youths and leaders really come together to stop all activities BUT Just PRAY in UNITY! Can you imagine that SCENE! And if that happens for 3 mths straight! WOW i cant imagine what will happen!!! And what i really hope is we all can CONTINUE TO ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER in this! We can't do this alone! We need to be united!!!! Lets spread the fireeeeeee! =)

Well after being to the last 2 GDOP the last 2 yrs... i originally didn't plan to go for yesterday one, BUTTT i can say...i have no regrets at all....personally it was my favorite out of all! As somehow the atmosphere in the INDOOR stadium make it so much better to pray and worship compared to the national stadium where it can be quite hot! And this year there was 2 separate service..the chinese and english...so we didnt had to go thru so many languages and can focus better! Well praying with so many passionate Christians just makes your day! =)

The Vision from God about Wesley YM REVIVAL!
RIGHT now in my heart i'm just BEAMING with EXCITEMENT!
God really never fails to surprise you! And that was in my QT topic for the past week too!
I felt something was missing in YM GAP for the last couple of mths...not sure if it was just me, but I realized that I was there for the sole purpose of just meeting fellow christians after a long day of work and not actually PRAYING which is the main reason why we are actually there!
Its like GAP became a routine for me...worship-sharing-praying-fellowship over supper...EVERY FRIDAY! and prayers become so short! and I felt we were praying just for the sake of it?
It shouldn't be just like a routine.. It has to be Spirit led! Every prayer have to be prayed by the Spirit and not just praying from our flesh.
Right now it's like a fresh fire has ignited in me again!! its like this fresh experience of GOD's presence AGAIN! It was like this dry period for me this last couple of mths! And I was wondering WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME! I still had small experiences here and there...But as i look back...God sure knows how to prepare for this MEGA "SURPRISE" today after a long dry period!
He showed me a verse last week "We LIVE by FAITH not by SIGHT"(couple entries ago).... and I have been claiming upon that ever since. Its not always abt having that tangible experience with GOD everyday,sometimes he just SEEM distance despite his PRESENCE actually always there with us. GOD will SHOW HIMSELF if we actually ALLOW IT to happen! We certainly need to EXPECT AND WANT to MEET WITH GOD each day!
Well one thing for sure! I felt so encourageee today! From the very spirit led worship by Matthias and that Inspiring sharing by Sandy.....
This are some verse i have took from Galatians 5 (shared today)..read the whole thing from Verse.1-21 for the full context...
8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10and find out what pleases the Lord.
14for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:
"Wake up, O sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you."
Sandy shared the history of YM GAP...and today was actually the first time I heard a more detailed story of that PROPHECY from the 2 youths,where one suddenly spoke in tongues and another suddenly had the gift of interpretation at a ym camp 5 yrs ago. The prophecy mentioned that "we need to PRAY in UNITY" and the cliques in ym WILL BREAK! AND MOST OF ALL!! YOUTHS WILL start RISING UP! ANDDDDDDDDD WESLEY YM WILLL SEE REVIVAL!!!! ... well there are more to come....
I really appreciate Matthias for his very honest open sharing to me that encouraged me so much that night! It assured me that there are other fellow like minded youths out there who has THIS COMMON PASSION! It's like this common vision that GOD has place deep in our hearts! We sldn't give up praying for YM! Prayer is really one thing that CAN AND WILL CHANGE things if we prayed by the Spirit! It's like suddenly both of us was just praying our hearts out! With just the 2 of us in that room we felt so vulnerable on our knees in total surrender to God's will... that whatever we just felt led by the Spirit to pray..we JUST PRAYED and SAY it out! And thats something which I have only learnt so recently (from the book "the Life you always wanted: spiritual discipline book by John Ortberg" )
When we pray! whatever prompting we get in our heart! JUST PRAY! as thats how the Spirit guides one to pray!
If I looked back the last 3 yrs ever since God gave me this huge burden in my heart to be that CHANGEMAKER for GOD in YM and always hoping to see a revival in YM.... It was only today that I can say i'm 100 % ABSOLUTELY without A DOUBT of this vision that GOD has set in place in YM! It's like this sudden ASSURANCE that I KNEW WITHOUT a shadow of a doubt that GOD WILL DO WHAT HE HAS PROMISED US AND YM WILL DEFINITELY SEE REVIVAL in HIS time! And I somehow sense that time is veryyyyyyyyyyy veryyyyyyyyyyyy near!!!
On the way back home, had this very edifying conversation with Ian as we were talking abt the IMPORTANCE of encouraging one another. And this is what will bring a ministry together,this can possibly make a jaded person just on fire again. And this is something where Christians got to do in order to preserve in the Faith Journey each day.
Like what matthias shared with that night. We can't do this alone...WE NEED EACH OTHER! We all need to have this common goal in sight of us! WHICH IS GOD! the perfecter and author of our FAITH! and in order to prepare for YM REVIVAL to come... we FIRST need to RISE UP and STEP UP for our Sovereign Lord in UNITY! No matter what we are going to praise him! No matter what we will keep on praying!
And i see a POWERFUL ENDTIME ARMY of young people rising up for God...And the LORD is building that in YM right now!!!
WESLEY YM is and WILL SEE REVIVAL and I BELIEVED IT TOTALLY and this assurance from GOD is something i just cant explain BUT i KNOW it will happen NO MATTER WHAT! =)

Wow what a smashing successful event! I want to say a BIG THANKS to the TP and RP crusaders as well as others from other polys who helped us too! and most of all i want to THANK GOD for seeing us through this event! I was soooo surprise as i saw freshiessss pouring into the alumni lounge today! Somehow i wasnt actually that optimistic after hearing that not many cld come from the contacts we called... but wowww! God just provided freshies for us! heard abt 42 freshmen came... and abt 80 plus people altogether! It was just so awesomeeeeee! =) Really hope all this freshiesss will be assimilated and catch the vision of crusade!
Oh and thankssss to the 4 wesley ymers glenda,jolyn,thong and dennis for coming down too! =) =) =) =) Im so happpyyy as i type all this down!

Live by FAITH! not by Sight!
This may be quite a familiar verse to many Christians, but it hit me right into my heart in my quiet time yesterday and it encourage me a lot as i claim upon that verse thru out the day. Recently, i notice that i haven't had that like very close mega exciting encounter with God(something which i will blog and put a lot of exclamation marks on!) and though i still experience him in the many small ways....i was pondering on this.....you know in the past, i use to base my Christian Faith a lot on that tangible "emotional" experiences with God and yes although bcoz of that i have change over the years... but as i mature more...i begin to realize FAITH isn't actually seeing something visible and experiencing something in a very tangible way.... its so much MORE than that. And it all boils down to our very own walk with God in the WORD itself!
"Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." Romans 10:17
Ever since the last ym camp... i've learnt that a Christian walk is so much deeper than having that "emotional" feeling you get at camps, and thats something im concern abt many young christians today... if one really WANT to have that REAL DAILY EXPERIENCE with GOD EVERYDAY and grow closer to him! One really have to have that "SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE" to get it as the devil of this world wld always find many ways to bring our faith down....and to FIGHT THE DEVIL.... we have to really make sure that we know the Word well! As its only from the WORD itself that our FAITH can grow! And thats something which im really trying my very best to take back each day in my QT and times spent with our LORD. And YOU WILL BE AMAZED HOW GOD can surprise you when it HITS YOU!!!! Dun miss that! =)

HAPPY BEN!!!...Im so EXCITED for TP crusade ministry!
Just came back from an awesome SUPER DUPER FRUITFUL PRODUCTIVE Servant Team(ST) meeting with irene and joelle! It was one ST meeting which we know that GOD was really guiding us! First with a very insightful bible study sharing using the O.I.A (Observation, Interpretation and Application) on Colossians 3:1-17... Titled on NIV version "The Rules of Holy Living"... and wow after the sharing on those verses we actually had a lot of insights from there to base our next few Life Meetings based on that! I had a handful of verses that just strike my heart! Followed by some amazing brainstorming session finding a theme continuation from our welcome tea! "Wheres your treasure?" and pretty cool tag lines just POP right into our heads that made us just so excited! TREASURES... WALK the THOUGHT!... TREASURES...WEAR IT ON!... TREASURES...JUST SAY IT!.... These are the topics for the next few LMs after welcome tea! ANDDDD Irene CHALLENGED joelle and me to each speak in one of the LMs! Im extremely excited for this! First time getting such an opportunity to "preach", hahha! well going to really read up on my given topic and find interesting ways of delivering the message across to the crusaders! =)=)=)
Im sooo excited for things to comeeee in Tp campus crusade for christ! I really THANK GOD for this although small but awesome servant team with irene guiding us! Somehow i just have this STRONG ASSURANCE and PEACE from God that He will provide quality Christian Freshmens to join us and serve our sovereign Lord of this ministry in TP!
