Such a strange IRONY..only yesterday i was blogging abt how my week has been REALLY BORING! and suddenly just had one of the most enjoyable nites in quite awhile!

First rush all the way to Bishan J8 from school abt 5 plus....supposedly to meet vyan first before meeting keith to catch a movie or do something. And for abt an entire hr...i cldnt contact vyan..was wondering what happen..so decided to go keith hse first. Soon enuff vyan arrived too... AND we FOUND out he LOST HIS PHIONE. Played some Table tennis with Keith..and gotta admit i lost to him flat..ALTHOUGH I WAS LIKE TRASHING HIM during the practice part lor! I guess i was too complacent! heh...

while keith was waiting for some technician guy who was checking on his internet...vyan and i were having an interesting conversation which somehow i realized that I've always been having that similar conversation with him whenever i meet him. haiz... vyannnnnn...if your reading this arh...... you really know what i hope for you......

After that headed to J8 for a LATE DINNER!...we called wen hao who along... and had dinner at Subway like at late 9plus! It was really really REALLY FUN talking abt almost anything with this guys! There's this interesting thing on how wenhao actually knew them too...First vyan was actually wenhao's kindergarden best friend!..and they didnt see each other for quite awhile until i invited wen hao to wesley . And coincidently...keith was in the same sch as wenhao in Sec 1! Its like all his path has crossed each one of us in different part of his life and we are all now back here together!

It was really one FUN HANGOUT night man! in the end i guess this hanging out night instead of a movie with the 2 closest friends i had in church(aka the "CHANGE-MAKERS") and my closest friend in TP all in THIS ONE NITE... ITS JUST LIKE AN ICING IN THE CAKE to TOP MY WEEK! Its worth the sacrifice spending time with the closest friends of mine till late into the night.....and despite me having classes like in a few more hrs time AND THAN YOU GUYS ARE HAVING HOLIDAY! TSK! ...
oh well...
WENHAO, VYAN and KEITH!...you 3 sld be proud that i have titled you guys COOL PPL on my blog! HHAHAH! you guys oweee me arh! heh.

ANYWAYS....Will be away tmr night for YM GAP Retreat at HANG OUT@ MT.Emily! from friday nite till saturday noon! Gonna expect GOD MOVING in this prayer retreat! YEAAA! can't wait! =)

Some have you notice that i havent blogging the last few days..Recently i figured that i rather blog abt stuff which shows how wonderful God has been working in my life or around me and i hope to keep this blog to be an inspiration rather den personal stuff.. I'm not gonna blog for the sake of it just to keep my daily entries going like i used to do. But i wld still try my best to blog something daily to keep my faithful readers ENTERTAIN =)

The past few days has BEEN REALLY BORING! ...monday...just had a short class like an hr or so for Entec. Den gym with wen hao..tuesday... came to sch early morning at 9am just for a short 5 mins consultation on my Resume and Portfolio..and decided to go home right after that before my next class at 3pm which was CANCELLED as soon as i got back. SO ENTIRE AFTERNOON SLEEP(the rainy weather was niceee),EAT,TV,testing out all those cool features in FACEBOOK(this is like the CRAZE now!)...EAT..did some exercises and watch more TV the entire nite..from Ch8 shows to CSI..kinda felt i wasted my day...i guess it was a good rest day..but i just dun like doing things which are not productive...haiz. Today...the same..no morning class..so came sch for Entec from 3pm and ended at 4pm! and came home! BORING RIGHT!SIGHHHH!... i kinda miss being BUSY!

I felt that today i heard one of the BEST SERMONS preach by Adriel! His sermon came at the very right time for so many youths who are having their exams now like A's or O Levels. And i was noticing the style in his preaching ,on how he engage the youths with the left brain and right brain technique he taught the leaders a a recent MLM. With the illustrations to the quotes to back to the main message..everything was near perfect!
The scripture passage was from 1 Samuel Chapter 17. on DAVID vs Goliath! Many people have heard this story sooo many times ever since they were small kids. But after hearing todays message there is actually more than meets the eye in this well known bible story. He linked this story with a title BREAK THROUGH! which is basically how i see it to be successful in life by overcoming all our "giants".
As you can see in the notes i written. Just by 3 Principles... how DAVID overcome Goliath..
1. HE DID NOT LET OTHERS PUT HIM DOWN.(many didn't believed in David being able to defeat goliath,but that didn't put him down.)

2.HE PERFECTED HIS STRATEGY (David actually studied the amour, if you read the passage,it said in great details of Goliath amour.And it actually takes much more technique than just a lucky sling shot..... and i agreed totally with what he said when sometimes ppl argue with God on why they study sooo hard and pray alot BUT than dun do well..and den they blame God. And this is all BACK WITH THE TECHNIQUE and the right way of studying. So before God can help us. We need to Master the strategy first.)

3. HE KNEW HOW BIG GOD WAS!( Thru out this passage, David only talks abt goliath twice..BUT HE MENTION GOD SIX TIMES! so in life we sldnt complain so much, we just need to compare the problem we have and GOD. AND that solves EVERYTHING! All we need to do is cast our cares to God and he will give us peace.

Before i start sharing abt GAP... today did some CRAZY GYM workout! I think it cld be THE MOST INTENSIVE GYM session ever! DID 8sets of 50,45,40 KG bench presses!15pull ups,200 crunches,80 leg raises,Weights for biceps,triceps,forearms and end of with this machine dunno wad its called but IT WAS TOUGH!...2 HRS OF NON STOP gymming!!After that darren and me were SHAGGED! EXHAUSTED...but feels good to have completed all this!

YM GAP!...God was really in our midst. First was really inspired by glawin sharing and i think the best part was actually when we broke into grps to pray. Was praying with Gladwin,Andrew and Zhou hao...realise that so coincidently we have one from 12 stone,one from worship team,a Pastoral team member and me from x-trainers! So its good to have this inter link of ministry praying for one another. And i felt sooo ministered during this prayer session. Its times like this where GOD JUST REVEAL so many things to you! And God was really interceding as we prayed for one another in our ministry! WE CLD see and experience him in that room! GOD was RIGHT IN OUR MIDST! God even revealed something to Gladwin while praying. And he shared with us. ITS LIKE SOME PROPHESY of YM! Everything there was amazing!

Gladwin approach me after GAP asking abt mentoring me. And i agreed to it. This is gonna be kinda like a first to me. Although i have other leaders that i somehow treated like mentors too. I think this is gonna be like my real first mentor. Quite excited to seee what izzit like being mentored by Gladwin! heh!

First ST Meeting for TP campus crusade before the next Semester!

IMAGINE a MOVEMENT starting in TP and than THE WORLD!!!!
I wanna start by talking abt my NEW lecturer from my Entec class... yesterday THIS FUNNY THING happen..at 3pm we entered the classroom...and ANOTHER class entered that same room as well!The other lecturer who came in was wondering how come theres another class in his room.So he approach my NEW lecturer and my lecturer UNKNOWINGLY thought that HIS A STUDENT! OH GOSH! I was like ohh myyyy!I felt so embarrass for my NEW lecturer.Soon enuff my new lecturer realize his actually using the WRONG classroom and that "student" who approach him was ACTUALLY another LECTURER! ...
After that when we FINALLY found our real classroom. He was drawing some toilet system on the whiteboard..AND after the entire white board was drawn on...HE REALIZED something..He said like "OH SHIT...PERMANENT MARKER"!...THE WHOLE CLASS started laughing lor....Its like everything wasn't going well for him on his second day in teaching. And he always have this UNIQUE laughter when he dunno what else to say0.AND that just make us break into laughter again! What a session! wonder what class wld be like in an hr time!

After that had a run at Bedok Reservoir! AND SET ANOTHER NEW PERSONAL RECORD TIME! And i won't have beaten that time if Irene didnt call me nearing the finishing mark..I was so close to the end.. SO I INCREASE my pace BY ALOT! LITERALLY SPRINTING like in a 100metre dash hoping to answer the call at the end. And it help me just NARROWLY beat my previous time... in 23 mins 10 Secs! Just 2 secs faster than my last 2 timings. THATS CLOSE!

After that had our first ST meeting before the 2nd Semester with Irene, joelle and wenhao. Coming up with the vision and purpose of our team and coming out with ideas for the future of Tp crusade ministry. I shared something abt prayer with the STs which inspired me a lot after a sharing by Denise last friday. She shared how she and this other girl,Constance from NP crusade now..used to be like the only or few Christians in their netball team in sec school than and after constant fervent prayer by the both of them EVERYDAY..... A MIRACLE in their team happen. Almost their entire team suddenly became Christians who are also ACTIVELY serving in Church now! It was a great testimony abt the POWER of Prayer! And it really encourage me to also hope to see a CHANGE in Tp starting from Tp crusade ministry. Imagine seeing a movement and Christians rising up and many life change! REVIVAL in TP and than MOMENTS INTO THE WORLD! It was an exciting vision which i was very excited abt!

Todays the first day of the LAST BLOCK for this semester!9-12 and 3-6pm classes! With PcomD which is basically abt writing resumes and Entec which is abt TOILET design..remind me of Phua Chu Kang!haha!...

well this funny thing happen this morning at 9am...we were all waiting outside the class wondering who wasSevarani Suppiah who was suppose to be our lecturer for PcomD. So we were all loooking out for an indian lady or guy...suddenly THIS chinese lecturer walk into the class...AND WE WERE LIKE STUNNED! shes SEVARNI SUPPIAH??? so we all hesitated to enter the class..Maybe its the wrong lecturer or shes a chinese who married an Indian and than had her name CHANGE too?we had like all this weird speculations. But soon enough we found out that our timetable may have been printed wrongly?bcoz our lecture intro herself as Jeanne chin! so we were sh0cked and we check to confirm our shockness!Even Jeanne chin was shock to see the mis print in our timetable... oh well... first lesson was quite BORINGGGG!

HAD a 3 HRS break before Entec class! we were SHOCKED to see that we had a new a junk lecturer for this environmental technology class! We had this TOTALLY NEW GUY! who although seem to have a lot of experience in the working industry BUT... I guess this is his first time teaching! So he like didnt know what to say much? and I think he felt some awkwardness when there was nothing much to say for the intro. So he suddenly just laugh to himself...and WE Didn't know how to response but to just JUST LAUGH BACK! It was quite a funny moment! Pitied that guy actually.And class ended like in 20mins or less?

DID YOU FEEL THE MOUNTAIN TREMBLE!!!...really just love this song! Now after the recent FOP... i kinda got back my passion in jumping for the Lord again in a normal Ym service!Like i said before way back in one of my posts....I said we sldnt hold back if we really want to just dance and jump for the Lord. For example you see David from the bible...he was so Joyful that he even dance for the lord in his linen! And i rmb hearing somewhere that...actually its pleasant in God eyes if we really can show our JOY for the Lord even if it seems making a fool of ourselves! If you see one guy jumping ALONE! it seem kinda WEIRD rite! But i mean i dun really care now! I just want to do it for God! SO YMERS! if your reading this! IF YOU CAN SHOW YOUR JOY IN CAMPS by jumping for the Lord!why can't u do it in a normal Ym service?

Small grp time was pretty good. I felt the sharing session was quite open and honest and one thing i wanna share abt here was when Steph shared abt how recently there was this nite when she and some of her close friends had to really mug the entire nite just before 2 papers the next day, she decided to pray for each one of them instead of herself. And she felt this peace in heart.And this reminded me abt something Gladwin once shared to me at one of the Ym Gap session. Sometimes there might be times of dryness in our spiritual walk, if we are just praying for ourself only and forgetting that God can use us to pray and minister to others as well. So after that day. My whole perception change quite abit...nowadays i try my best to pray for other people more and pray that God can use me to minister to others. I feel more at peace this way.And its really just so JOYFUL seeing how REAL God has been revealing in my life recently.

Woke up really early this morning as a small grp of us, Sen, his son, marcus,stacy,eric and me visited the Bethany Methodist Nursing Home as part of one of the charity works with do for the X-trainer challenge. It started abit akward as we went to one of the dormitory. Marcus started of by playing some songs and we sang along. And Sen's son did some classical pieces. After that we did some painting with the elderly. This was actually the highlight of the visit. Check out some of the paintings they did....

After that we headed to MLM together after lunch... todays session was pretty good! Worship was awesome! With Eugene deciding to play classic songs sang like more than 10 yrs ago, and some new songs too! After that watch a show "Kissing Dating Goodbye"...it a really good show that talks abt whens the right time for getting into relationships.Basically its always in God's perfect timing.

We than broke into our various leadership peer support grps and we had a discussion session on youths that we find hard to manage in our grp. Everyone was very open in their sharing, and got to pick up some useful tips from the older leaders.

I notice that this week alone...suddenly i'm like catching up with a lot of my old st gabs friends almost everyday.Like suddenly been meeting up with my good old buddy nicholas almost everyday too. Even a few days back when i had a new hair cut with nicholas...we coincidently bump into another of our ex classmate who had his hair cut at the very same place as us too.

Yesterday also met up with Eric a staff from Singapore Youth For Christ (SYFC)... It was a good time of catching up ever since the SYFC soccer team kinda disbanded last year, he also ask if I wld like to help him coach some kids from pri4-6 in this Evangelistic Christian Soccer camp his organising, and the dates that i'm available wld be the Dec 3-5 slot. It kinda interest me, first of all, i never really coach soccer before and wld like to give it a try...secondly, i felt this is a good opportunity to reach out to those kids thru soccer too. Well, the only prob wld be just before that camp it will be YM combined ministry retreat from Nov 30-Dec 2 ...and right after that wld be YM CAMP 07 from Dec 13-16. And i know i'm gonna be quite busy during the december period not counting crusade commitments.

At the same time, I also took this opportunity to ask him some stuff abt how he ended up in full time ministry serving in SYFC.. and its good to hear his passion, for example, SYFC has this Sports and Adventure ministry which reach out to youths thru sports. And this is something which at the same time reminded me of my ex soccer coach from SYFC too and also "THE FACING THE GIANTS" football coach who inspired his team bcoz of God. And its strange that just this couple of mths, i recall having conversations with Full time staff from church,crusade and now SYFC too. Hmmm..well....is this something i'm up for in the future?..i dunno...will be praying abt all this still..........

This were the guys that we use to always play floorball with at melvin house squash court during our sec 4 days after school. It was quite a cool reunion for most of them! And the TICKET for the CATHAY at AMK HUB cost ONLY $6 for students!!!!!!! ITS like the CHEAPEST MOVIE TICKETS I EVER BOUGHT IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!! Well with 6 bucks it was well worth this action packed FUNNY MOVIE! Chris Tucker is really one HUMOROUS COMEDIAN!! Give 3.5/5 stars!

Today's my grand aunt 85th BIRTHDAY!!! so we had some grand family gathering at this ROLAND Restaurant. And its the same restaurant where SM Goh Chok Tong and his Marine parade GRC were gonna have their dinner on the same day! Anyway never had such a sumptious 10 course meal in a very very LOOOOOOOONG time! Ate prawns,crabs,duck,shark fins and all kind of other expensive dishes!YUMMYY! ate until really full!

After that rush of to meet wenhao for a run at macritchie. Was really full and still aching from the tough gym work out yesterday. THIS WEEK ALONE.. GYM TWICE, RUN TWICE! never done that before in MY LIFE!..but the run with him was good. Did a more relax slow jog as we chatted thru out the entire route. Did a slightly longer route... in 28mins 17 sec! AGAIN COINCIDENTLY the EXACT same timing as my S'pore run a couple days ago! HOW STRANGE IS THAT!

Met up with a couple of my close stgabs buddies ifan and melvin for dinner after that! it was good catching up! Didnt see melvin since feb!

Todays YM Gap was good again! Matthias led a mini session of free worship. Didnt had that in a long time in gap. but really enjoyed it! =)

Something which i was thinking a lot during GAP...just by todays prayer session alone, and sharing from many people i know in church over the past couple of mths. I notice that theres this really common thing happening in a lot of our lives right now. The WORLD is becoming so TEMPTING and at the same time DISTRACTING to many Christian lives. And this gives the devil a foothold to deceive and influence us. And our lives tend to get messy and stress over WORLDLY things.. even things we think is good...for e.g. studies?ccas?work? but once this priorities pull us away from GOD. Personally i feel, thats how the devil can subtly affect our walk with GOD. With Major exams such as A's, IB papers, O's all coming!This is inevitable... BUT we still sldnt let all this factors affect us. We sld still put God first in everything we do. YES STUDIES IS IMPORTANT. BUT we still need to put GOD first even before our studies. ALL WE NEED is to commit at least sometime before we start our packed day.Just spending time with the Lord ALONE. And when we talk abt surrendering our life. ITS really abt ABSOLUTE surrender. Not 99% but 100%! And thats when we will see God straightening our paths and thats also when the JOY of the Lord will be seen in our lives!

Our GOD is really just SOOO LOVING and we just need to cast our worries upon him. Its easier said than done. BUT i really STRONGLY ENCOURAGE that if every youth in YM can see this and believe it by FAITH!And have this constant daily walk with God! THATS when we will see YM REVIVAL!

I remember adriel once said at Ym camp 05...that 2006 wld be the preparation year for WESLEY YM REVIVAL..So in this coming YM camp 07..wld it be the start of our REVIVAL? well i CHOOSE TO BELIEVE it! But we all have to play apart. AND BE "THE CHANGE-MAKERS" of YM! WOOHOOO! didnt use that WORD for quite a while! but i really hope to ignite that passion again!

Was quite surprise by the HUGE turn out from more than 50 ymers in our yearly X-trainer Challenge!was thinking who wld WAKE UP so EARLY on a public holiday! But well it was goood to see so many still coming.We did a 6 Km run around Singapore River! My fitness is like at a peak now! Didnt really feel tired after the run, infact found the run quite relaxing in this cool morning!The rain stopped in time for us! THANK GOD!...was joggin with shashi for the first half and den yewjin for the second half of the journey and manage to complete in a time of 28 mins 17 secs...was the first few ppl to finish! Its 10 mins faster den the very slow reggae run that i did with Sen a mth ago.Actually thought cld have run faster still..but manage to reach my targeted time anyway.

After the run, had breakfast with vyan at macs. It was a good time catching up with him after not seeing him for quite a while. Isaac and steph join us in awhile and it was really a nice fun time of fellowship! After that rush down to Junction 8 to meet my stgabs friends Nicholas and TW for lunch. And did more catching up again... GOOD NATIONAL DAY today!

LAST Tp Crusade Life Meeting for the semester =(

LAST Tp Crusade Life Meeting for the semester and Amber last day in TP crusade.
Well...today kinda like finish organizing our Sail FEST Exhibition Design! Its was TOUGH! but "ITS THE REAL WORLD corporation team"has DONE IT! All those effort of doing EXTRA work which is not in the requirements and doing a 70 plus powerpoint slideshow! It IMPRESSED our lecturer! Well that Z grade or A grade coming soooooooooon! =)

After that had our last crusade LM for this semester! so saddddddd lor! and its Amber last day as a staff in Tp crusade too!=(... anyway the last LM was quite a good refresh as usual. We read this article abt SWEET SURRENDER... and i wld like to quote this sentence... "Andrew Murray wrote abt such surrender as "absolute surrender" It is the only way to experience the fullness of God's true rest:absoulute or full surrender to God alone." I felt this is sooo true bcoz if we ONLY 100% surrender our life to God WHOLLY not even 99.9% BUT 100% is only when we will experience that fullness of God's peace.

So in order to keep this walk with God consistent..we should confess our sins daily and at the same time surrender control of our life to Christ and receiving the fulness of the Holy Spirit by FAITH! And once we do this EVERYDAY! MOMENT by MOMENT. Is when u will see HOW GOD can be sooo real and true!

Well...something i wld like to share...after today's LM.. I think i'm more assured of agreeing to step up and be the Student Leader of Tp campus crusade. Its strange but... after joelle and me both turn it down few mths ago due to too many commitments in church. but right now! BOTH OF US have FINALLY AGREED to it when Irene approach us again! And it was part of how God spoke to us too! Like for me... only just a couple weeks ago, in my post abt my purpose in life. I shared with my small grp abt how God put us in different place in different times ALL FOR HIS PERFECT PLAN! and seeing that i'm place in TP crusade right now! I felt that, this cld be my only chance to serve God here, and to step up to take a more responsible role. And seeing this HUGE NEED and also seeing that indeed recently tp crusade isn't exactly like doing very well. Joelle and me have decided that maybe its time we really sld step up more and help our staff Irene in Tp crusade. REALLY CLD SEE the JOY in Irene face when joelle agreed to it too!
We really want to see the movement in reaching out the lost souls in TP as well as equipping more Christians here!

(We did some crazy stunts after life meeting!Wen hao first climb and jump to catch the para pat of the back of the second lvl of the design sch. And climb up that railing. JEM followed and den I tried it too! It was kinda scary at one part, BUT i overcome my fear of heights! and it felt great to do that mini stunt! Its like at least 10 metres HIGH! but well in life we sld do crazy things once in awhile! the picture on the left is nicholas who tried to do the stunt, but he didnt really pull it off)

When to the FINAL NITE of FOP with TP and RP crusaders!We were like this huge 20 plus grp! And although we came very very early.but we cldnt get seats very near to the stage bcoz our grp was too big! but well..from where we sat. I gotta say! This is like an awesome area to see the entire CROWD! And its a sight which is just so unforgettable! Just seeing sooo many passionate christians lifting up their hands emersed in worship! its like WOW!I realise thru out this 3 days i have sat at the floorseats, east and west sections! 3 different angles! COOL RITE!

This really funny thing happen! Before giving our tithes, there was a short sharing from a pastor from City harvest...and after that he say how we cld give our money.And when it came to the part abt giving via credit card or cheque, he when on to say ...or u can also write a cheque toooo CITY HARVEST CHURCH! OPPS!THE ENTIRE INDOOR STADIUM WAS STUNNED! He immediately retract his words and said its for the FOP instead. He must have done it so many times saying this in CHC until he kinda forget that this time theres other churches too. But he kept his cool! and well..i tink i felt quite embarass for him! WITH LIKE EVEYONE giving a AWWWWWWWWWW response! It must have been quite nerves shattering! but oh well...ppl do make mistakes.

Anyway DELIRIOUS and DON MOEN end of with all their classic songs! Yipeeee! I'm like super high after today! Jump until exhausted..sing my heart out until hoarse voice! but its AWESOME! The very very old songs ended by don moen was really FUN! CLASSIC man!

Today FOP seem better then yesterday! Maybe bcoz although i came very very late today. Came with wenhao,asriel,Jem,grace, ethel and her church mates. And we only reach the indoor stadium like late 6 plus pm! We had to take taxi from Plaza sing lor! bcoz buses were all PACKED!!And half way queuing the LOOOOOOOOOOONG queue we got separated from ethel and her churchmates.BUT U NOE WHAT! Asriel's mum called and said had 5 VIP entry pass for us!And just nice the other half, was just 5 of us! So we cld CUT ALL THE QUEUE and entered the VIP area. And we had FLOORSEATS reserved! HOW COOL IS THAT! Anyway today feeling soooo high! Sermon was really really really good again! CANT WAIT FOR FINAL NITE TMR with TP and RP crusaders!! YEAAAA!
I'm gonna be a HISTORY MAKER in this land! Yipeeeeeee!

Today ran at bedok reservoir again!Its like the first time in maybe a year since I run TWICE in 3 days! Actually my body was kinda aching from the record time run 2 days ago, but since wenhao wanted to run today, decided to go ahead. Irene and Nicholas join us too. And SOMEHOW COINCIDENTLY i did an EXACT SAME TIMING! of 23 mins 12 secs AGAIN! HOW COINCIDENCE was that! Wanted to beat it though! actually did beat my previous time in millli secs. After that rush down to Kallang to meet church mates feeling quite shagged actually!

DELIRIOUS and DON MOEN are JUST SOOOOOO TALENTED! Dr Phil Pringles sermon was pretty funny too. Anyway during the entire praise and worship session. I dunno why, but there was this guy in red nearby just caught my eye from the start!.AND i dunno why but i kept noticing him thru out the whole praise and worship session, he wasn't like very enthu abt the whole thing. He had this very bo chap look, like can't be bothered. And it was a little discouraging, and i think his mom next to him was like praying a lot and worshiping God, but i think his either a non believer or he just cant be bothered.

And abt 10 pm...when actually we had to leave bcoz the bus transport was here.BUT i dunno wad stop me from not going back with the rest. I JUST SOMEHOW wanted to stay on. When the pastor told us to pray for our non believer friends. I just kept praying for him. Its like GOD somehow directed me and gave this burden in me to pray for him. I DUNNO WHY!.But... i after the sermon and altar call, i just prayed and prayed during the entire worship session for this guy i dun even noe. AND i told GOD by faith that TONIGHT something is gonna happen to that guy. That God you are going to touch his heart. Its like eveyone around him was like WORSHIPING and Lifting up their hands in awe of GOD except him. But he was like so BO CHAP, he even sat down and like slept?i dunno. but i didnt give up praying. I just knew God was telling me to pray for him.

AND...when the Don moen started singing the Song "STILL".. He just stand up and LIFTED HIS HANDS! and he was singing and worshing God! I was SHOCKED! AMAZED!!!!ts like a 100 percent change! From so bo chap thru out the service ENTIRE 3 hrs AND from than on I cld see there was a GREAT change in him! He was like lifting up his hands thru out! even at the closing prayer too! I was like telling GOD.. THANK YOU! Its like i wld NEVER HAD SINCE THIS MIRACLE FROM GOD if I Just didn't had this prompting in my heart to stay on!

Today the first thing i did when i arrive in sch abt 5pm, was to go for a RUN around bedok reservoir! Can't take the loooooooooong wait without running oready! So geared up..met my proj mates and the crusders for awhile..den rush off! Did a new personal record time in bedok reservoir in 23 mins 12 secs in abt 5km! when checking my archives of my previous timing in my blog, it was 23 mins 39 secs! SO Yippeeee! There was this old man who was actually faster than me, first i over took him..but he like suddenly sprint all the way after that!THATS SCARY! but it was a nice run!

Rush for proj meeting and consultation,and found out my lecturer Harith was a TOP Student in TP DESIGN SCHOOL in his batch! And he appeared in newspapers! And he did some huge millenium project in 2000! Our proj consultation with him was so casual we can like just talk abt almost anything lor! Loving this period!

Rush for crusade after that...and we had 2 NEW ppl! one was grace friend and another Asriel friend, who is FROM DESIGN sch too! yay! the design population in crusade is growing. heh. And not only that...FOUND OUT She just stay oppsite my hse! Like..ONLY 2 mins walk away! HOW COINCIDENCE is that! Its really nice making new friends, espcially those that stay sooo near. never really had friends that stayed this near before!soo coool lor!

DECISIONS!!DECISIONS!!DECISIONS!!!(MUST READ ENTRY!..how God directed my decision)

That was what i was thinking and praying a lot since sunday. First i got an SMS reminder from Caroline on sunday asking if i wld like to SIGN UP for the YOUNG METHODIST LEADERS CONFERENCE from 7-9 September in Seremban,Malaysia.I actually forgot about it from the last few busy weeks ago. And i realize the deadline is tuesday 31 July.

One of the main cons stopping me from signing up for this is that i will still be having lessons on the 7 Sep,and as i do not know my schedule for that block yet, the cons are,it cld be an important Presentation date?submissions?or as its in the 3rd week of the block,thats usually where the FINAL ASSIGNMENT wld be given and my weekends are normally packed with work.So all this thoughts came into my mind. And at the same time, this is a good opportunity i do not want to miss, as I'm sure i will gain a lot from going to this conference, first heard the workshops are really good,and its a good time for refreshing with the Lord, a chance to network and get to know other methodist leaders around Singapore and at the same time catch the vision of the Methodist churches in Singapore. And i'm sure its a really good experience to go.

I cld take the easy way out, by not signing up and just carry on life without much worry. But i decided to talk to different leaders for advice first. So over the past couple of days i talk with church leaders like gladwin,chiehming and my ysgl Englee and also approach my crusade staff irene and Dgl Glenn for advices. And i really wanna SAY A BIG THANKS to all of you for spending sometime giving me words of wisdom. =)

And only yesterday,tuesday morning. After having that decision in my head THINKING thru out the nite. I was praying before my QT. And i was asking God something like this,please give me at least some answer from my QT today. at the same time as i was praying i remembered few mths ago i had to make a BIGGER decision before my mission trip where i had to decide on sch or the trip. Thats another story,but God spoke so DIRECTLY to me abt FAITH in my QT that time.So if i cld take that BIGGER STEP OF FAITH than, why can't i do it again this time. But anyway as i OPENED my QT book.AND...As i read the passage for July31. I started to realise...OH WOW! God are u really talking to me again!ABT FAITH? It all started to straighten my thoughts...but i still didnt had a clear decision.

So waited till evening time, when i had to Lead in my own crusade DG for the FIRST TIME with my peers and my DGL sitting in. Side tracking a bit. I can say that yesterday DG lesson i led cld be one of my best or better and more confident lessons i ever led.AND THIS IS ALL BCOZ OF the LONG WELL PREPARED PREPARATION on sunday.And at the sametime maybe bcoz i had some pressure from my DGL sitting in, so wanted to make sure everything went according to plan. AND INDEED it went well!THANK GOD!

Back to my decision again..before DG i shared my QT passage with my DGL glenn for more clarification and as he read it out again and explain. My decision was more ASSURED. To find out how God spoke to so strongly... read on my QT passage....

Faith And Risk

If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, "From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water" (John 7:37, 38).

The story is told of a prospector in the last century who had to make a four-day journey across a burning desert. He couldn't carry enough water to make the journey without dying of thirst, but he was assured there was a well halfway across the desert. So he set out and sure enough there was a well right where the map indicated. But when he pumped the handle, the well only burped up sand. Then he saw this sign: "Buried two feet over and two feet down is a jug of water. Dig it up and use the water to prime the pump. Drink all the water you want, but when you are done, fill the jug again for the next person."

Sure enough, two feet over and two feet down was enough water for the prospector to prime the pump or to finish his journey. Should he pour the water down the well or should he drink it?

To tell you the truth, I'd drink the water that was buried! I don't know who wrote the sign on that rusty old pump. It could be a cruel joke. I'd pour that water down a worthless well only to watch my life drain away for lack of water.

Faith always has an element of risk, but there is one factor in the above story that doesn't exist when it comes to God. I know who wrote the sign. When I pour myself into a life of faith, I know that out of my inner being shall flow rivers of living water. God said so, history verifies it, and I, for one, can testify that it is true. In the final analysis, God is not only true, He's right.

There is more than enough water in God's well for everyone, but the pump is only activated by faith. Remember: "Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).

Heavenly Father, You have proven Yourself trustworthy. Your river of living water never dries up or becomes polluted.

Amazingly...that was how GOD really prompted me and cleared my path.

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him,and he will make your paths straight."

(this may seem random but as i'm having a cold now,one temporary cure for block nose is doing push ups. And it WORKS!)
