First started off my FIRST EVER MOUNTAIN BIKE adventure this morning...met wen hao at 10am! First cycled past bishan park before heading to MacRitchie....
(On our way towards macritchie.....Than towards the LONG steep slope up towards Singapore Island Country Club (SICC)....)
(the golf course at the Top of SICC....thats the Long STEEP SLOPES...Its steeper than it looks!...
was actually quite FUN speeeding down this slope! but the going uphill part can kill you if you didnt get the right momentum!)
(Our first short waterbreak after those tough steep road!...and the entrance of our adventure begins.....!
(Thats one of the down hill terrains we had to clear if we were to cycle towards bukit timah)
.... AND THAN... THE BIG THING HAPPEN!!!!!!......
(Was much more confident..so sped alittle down the uneven slopes..feeling GUNG HO!...and THAN MY BIKE FLEW across that HUMP..and i kinda panic in the air abit and landed arm first...and SAW THE BIKE FALLING on TOP me!)
(I didnt realise my BLOODY ARM at first...was more of at a state of shock...and i didnt know i bled until wenhao ask if i had bled..so saw my arm...and TO my HORROR...didnt EXPECT TO SEE SOOO MUCH BLOOOOOOOOOOOOD!....we were contemplating if we sld continue our original destination of Bukit timah..or to head back instead.... so i decided to go ahead...despite my confidence level DROPPING trememdously..and feeling quite MUDDY!... but...after....)
(seeing more humps like that pic above...i kinda decided to turn back instead...but we head down a little more to seee the Pipeline wenhao was telling me abt.....
THE PIPELINE
(Thats like every Mountain bike Enthusiast dream to cycle thru.... maybe one day!..i will complete this!)
(We decided to take a look at the pipe line... wenhao climbing back to check on the bikes)
Was more cautious on the way back...this time decided to head towards upper thomson from here... to eat the FAMOUS Casuarina Curry & Prata stall...
(The BUNG DUNG is like THE BEST i ever tasted!....the prata was actually alright only to me)
After that...headed to upper pierce reservoir...did more up and down steep slopes... before we reach the nice scenic reservoir!
(The nice serene water.............the beautiful green slopes...it was really peaceful there..)
And after like 4 hrs.... we cycled all the way back to wenhao's place.......
(the close up view of my niceeeee wound!...... Didnt had such a cut in quite awhile!this was actually the highlight of the day!
THIS WAS REALLY SOMEEEE ADVENTURE!)
