Was looking back and reflecting the whole year of 2008, and wow, i'm just amazed at how God has shown me sooooo much right from Jan 1 of 2008! Its been one of my most EXCITING years walking with the Lord and growing spiritually with him! And there's just tooo many stories to share! Looking Back 2008......
First i wanna say a HUGE THANKS to my small grp God's Clay!!! This are the people that has truly been with me the longest! Seeing how i have grown over the years with the Lord from that very quiet boy in sunday school and than in small grp time... to now one of the more talkative ones...
This year has been a year where God's clay has grown so much,being more mature and now taking more ownership of the grp, despite the many new transitions from guys going NS, to girls going overseas and universities and a couple taking A's and IB and some doing our FYP! We certainly has stayed strong being that Clay that the LORD our Potter has been forming and moulding since the tiny us! And now we even having bible studies on our own in 2 separate bible study days!
Looking back we certainly have grown so much over the years, in 2002 (when we were sec 1s), we were still under the old sunday sch system , then we had Gary. and then in 2003 ever since Wesley Youth Ministry was form in 2003 when we were just those tiny sec 2s....
2003, that was the day our OFFICIAL youth small grp was FORMED... I still rmb vividly, we were all in a room in the OLD YMCA, where Ee lin and Joel took us for the first time and we were all quiet staring blindly to our leaders.

It was like a PROMISE FROM GOD for our small grp! that same RAINBOW... GREWWWWW veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy largeeee and stretched across the room further in our sharing! It was an amazing sight!!!! )

The CROSSTRANINERS!
With Isaac and Me heading this submins place before us, this is another ministry close to my heart, especially seeing how so many young youths in this ministry has step and up and grown so much ever since our recent retreat!
This is a write up of the REAL MEANING behind the name of CROSSTRAINERS...(by Sen one of the founders of Crosstrainers!)
" Cross-training is a kind of exercise
Definition of cross-training is
"the incorporation of two or more types of exercises into one exercise program, or by alternating methods of training to focus on developing different aspects of physical fitness at different periods within a long term training program."
(from the book 'Cross-Training for Dummies')
At one time branded shoes were made specifically for cross-training
The history of how the name Crosstrainers came about happened when the ministry was headed by Alex, myself, Shashi and Glad. Alex suggested "Trailblazers"
Crosstrainers was my suggestions and taking into consideration of cross-training (sports/exercise) seemed appropriate that its members were also to be trained in the way of the Cross.
Thus, there had always been an underlying training program during 'my' time.
I feel that the training of crosstrainers should be intentional so that those who have heard God's calling to serve Him should be trained up by its ministry leaders.
Crosstrainers should never be a ministry for people who think that only sporty people can join."

Looking back the year 2008...personally its been the most exciting year i have serve along side the XTs, just being part of every event and seeing the many times God just SHOWED his awesome power to us has truly encourage me alot!!

TP campus Crusade For Christ
Certainly one ministry that played a huge part in my life and helping and equipping me in SPiritual Maturirty in this 3 years in TP! After serving as a Servant Team(ST) and Spiritual Multiplier(SM) for at least 2 years...and seeing how my disciples John,Jem and Nick grown over the years! I now have to pass on the Baton... to a new batch of rising leaders!

2009....
A new year!
(this photo is taken in a youth for christ soccer camp in 2007, with this bunch of boys and one girl from pri 5-sec 2.. bcoz of this young people that i was coaching for abt 3 days, it actually stirred something in me that i never ever thought wld come...and it was the burden to start putting my life in to younger people.... and that was the initial call to now what im abt to take on for the year to come a new SEC 1 grp in YM!)
After peer leading my small grp for the past 3 years! I'm going back down....again... to a new bunch of sec 1s very very soon! And i'm blessed with 2 aysgls that somehow God has place before my path at the recent ym camp, one is Andrea who was in my camp grp and Hillary who was in the grp i was attached to in the monopoly game in camp! So i guess it was a divine appointment that now i working alongside them for this new challenge for us! I'm sooooo excited!!!!!!!

My old 2008 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS!
1. Definitely to grow EVEN CLOSER and MORE DEEPER with the Lord each day (YESSS!!!)
2. Hopefully to be able to cover 3/4 of the bible this time.(DONE i think! About there,as did this Precepet inductive bible study thing and also from the many other readings here and there)
3. To evangelize to at least 10 friends! (DONE! I thought that was at high task! But looking back God certainly gave me many many many opportunities for reaching out this year! And I think there was more than 10 chances!)
4. To guide God's Clay,Tp crusade,Cross Trainers to move to a whole new level! (I guess God certainly did help me in this!)
5. To gain 5 more KG! From 60kg to 65kg! (hmmm...i think pretty close, but gain abt 3 kg? from 60 to 63 this year! Need more GYMING!)
6. To get a GPA of more than 3.0 (This was pretty close! My current GPA is 2.97... now need that distinction for my FYP to bring it way above 3!)
7. And to continue to live each day with the JOY OF THE LORD! =) (YES!!!!!)
I guess i kinda feel contented abt succeeding in my New Year Resolution of 2008...
And now MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS 2009!
1. To grow CLOSER and MORE DEEPER and SPIRITUALLY with the Lord!
2. To know and grow deeper in the WORD even more this year!
3. To reach out to at least 15 friends! (more to come in NS!)
4. To get a GPA of more than 3.0 (need that distinction for FYP!)
5. To lead my new batch of Sec 1s to be closer to the Lord!
6. To be that salt and light in NS!
7. To get to OCS!
8. To see members in God's Clay,Crosstrainers,Tp campus Crusade, step up even more this year!
9. And to continue to live each day with the JOY OF THE LORD! =)
We are all still in this race for the LORD!....
