For the past week, I've been doing research for my IAD project 1 which last for the next 2 blocks, and from yesterday till now... been working on my Inspiration board which is like some 3D Pop up form.
Anyway... today's campus crusade LM message by Amber was pretty good. The topic was abt prayer... the scripture passage used was from Genesis ch 18:9-33 ... it showed how Abraham was pleading to God to save Sodom and Gomorrah. And although Abraham pleaded with God to save Sodom if there was at least 10 righteous man...And with God agreeing to his plead.... in the end God still destroyed Sodum and Gomorrah... so some may think why God didnt save Sodom? BUT! God knew Abraham inner desire was just to save his nephew, Lot who was in Sodom, and not really just for the sake of the other 10 righteous men.... E.g. it said in Ch 19:29 "So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and brought Lot out of he catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived."
So from this I learn that God knows our inner desires when we pray even if we didn't pray it out specifically.
1. Our View of God influences the way we pray
2.Knowing God preceeds knowing God's will.
3.There's a place where our dreams and God's dreams matches.
After this we broke into grps and shared our dreams for our campus... and our grp really dreamt big... we dreamt that TP will become a christian campus... aka Saint Temasek Poly!!! Imagine if that really happen! wooooah! And imagine having worship sessions at the Temasek Convention Centre (TCC) every week!!!! woahhh! Its gonna be sooo COOL!!!
oh well... FUSION is like in one day time!!! And i just realise that the prayer warrior thingy for FUSION i signed up for needed a lot of commitment! We like have to pray on thursday, and given timeslots on Friday and Saturday... so there will be a grp of ppl praying at evey hour! ohhh man... what i got myself into... sighh.... and i'm so afraid to miss some parts of the workshops and Nite rallies..... oh well.... will see how in tmr briefing...
