GOD has BLESSED me with such a GOOD DAY after a long tough mth!
It all started EARLY in the morning at 9am at the basement of Cathay!!! Met up with my mission team again as we continued to pray for the people in MMU in Selangor as well as pray for one another. It was really a good time of catching up!And although i was like the only Tp person there at first bcoz wenhao was very late. I still found it quite comfortable with the RP ppl!Thats how a mission trip can bring us all so much closer! had lunch with them and rush of to church for MLM after that.
MLM was just as good! And todays like the first time i spoke infront of so many ppl with a microphone to share a testimony abt how God use a leader to speak to me. I was quite embarrassed at the start. Not use to this kind of thing..but looks like its like the actual practical from all the public speaking speech i made infront of my class during the last block. And i actually had a script that i planned to read off from. but in the end... as i felt that this testimony was quite close to my heart. I cld just say everything out without even refering to it! And somehow it all just came naturally, really have to THANK GOD for speaking thru me, prayed really hard just before my sharing. Really hope it was an encouragement to the leaders there! =)
After that Adriel was sharing to the leaders on how to carry out a good preaching and not to bore your youths! It was quite interesting the way he base his entire sharing on the LEFT BRAIN and RIGHT BRAIN! won't go into the details but, basically he was saying that when u preach u sld always have a good balance of using the left brain such as from the scriptures or principles and than go back on the right brain such as illustrations in order to keep your youths awake! And another interesting happen was..he use Ravi Zacharias sermon as an example...and why i said it was interesting was BCOZ..ONLY yesterday and today i was reading abt HIM in my CASE FOR FAITH BOOK..where lee strobel was interviewing him. And no wonder i found his name so familiar when i read it! Didnt know he was really THAT WELL KNOWN! Anyway his sermon did inspired me! I always felt inspired to be one charismatic leader that wld be able to engaged and influence ppl! And now as a leader in church and crusade... I guess its really good if i cld work on this! Being a christian is just so EXCITING!
Immediately after MLM...met with some of the x-trainers and with shashi coming down to give some tips as we rehearsed our skit for tmr or rather LATER skit. Its gonna be infront of the WHOLE OF YM,the nubian gents and Pastor Dave reardon! SCARYYY! but really enjoyed the rehearsal! MY FIRST TIME ACTING infront of such a big crowd..really hope i dun get stage fright or just become a tomato! somemore i'm like the MAIN ACTOR! oh well... gona have to reach church at 8am later!
Right after that rush down to cathay again...this time to meet "THE PAINTS"... wenhao(RED),mich(BLUE),jacq (PINK) and me (BLACK) paint cld come...as asriel the green paint had something on. Anyway we watch HARRY POTTER! And after that had a nice time just talking thru the dinner table! It was good catching up with one another ever since we form at the mission trip! Its quite interesting how this NAMES and PAINTS came abt! will share another day..but it was really such a nice time just having meetings with all this christians thru out the day! Seeee how wonderful God is....after such a tough week! God can immediately just give me this wonderful break with all this christians! WHAT A NICE DAY! =)
