WHAT AN AWESOME DG!!!! (I like always say this!..but every DG is always soooo different lor!!!)(READ TO FIND OUT WHY!!!!)
Today did some mad rushing to school! AND first i was SUPER EARLY!!! until i realise i forgot to take my mock up model,my design floorplans and my library book which i need to return!! SOOO i took a bus back from potong pasir..rush like crazy across roads! and collect the stuff.....den take a bus back again!!! Grhhhhhhhhh! IT WAS SO HOT LOR! did some major rushing to the next bus stop to take bus 23..and PHEW!!! Got to class in time!REACHED sch on 12 noon on the dot! had consultation abt my floor plans..den russell,nazri and me rush to Tampines Mall to catch TRANSFORMERS! BUT TM was SUPER DUPER CROWED lor!!! The cinema was PACKED!..dang..so rush to Century Square....and all the timings in the afternoon were BOOKED TOO! arghhh! left the 6.05 pm show but i cldnt watch as i had DG...so my 2 friends book it instead and we walk back to TM again! We had like 2 hrs plus to kill lor! so walk aimlessly in TM! SALE SALE SALE EVEYWHERE!... and slacked at LONG JOHN for the rest of the time..as i did my floorplans there!
After that....met up with the DG guys for dinner before heading to glenn's place. And this time we had a SPECIAL guest! Glenn's Discipleship leader Daniel was invited to give us a sharing on Dependence on the HOLY SPIRIT! And Daniel is really one gifted leader! He really knows his bible well, and I really learnt alot from his teaching. One of the main thing we learn today is...the HOLY SPIRIT although it's like the less talk abt of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the one that actually prompts us and convict us. To summarise..the Holy Spirit is like our BEST FRIEND! Always telling us what to do and guiding us..etc...And the interesting is..... only slightly more than a week ago at my YM leaders retreat..one of the main topics was abt the Holy Spirit too! Its like suddenly everyone is talking abt it...and even i'm really curious and want to find out more abt the Holy Spirit. So today's sharing really did speak to me.. and why i said it was so interesting bcoz...its like a preaching session in DG with just 5 ppl in glenn's room! JL,bo chun,glenn,daniel and me! And we had ministry time and an altar call too...its the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE i experience such a thing in just a normal small grp meeting or discipleship meeting.... I always thought this kind of altar calls happened in camps or special services! BUT with just a guitar alone in a small room! we had ministry time! And as i like totally agreed with Daniel's preaching on the Holy Spirit, as i myself has Experience God so personally in my close walk with him this past 2 yrs. So i can really vouched and BELIEVED how trueee this HOLY SPIRIT is! So he prayed for us during this ministry time. I thought to myself..that ever since i got the gift of tongues last yr..and as i grew with the Lord more and more each day...i actually one want to experience more of God's gifts... i dunno if its like self fish to want more and more...but its like i still want to experience God at a whole new level! But i want this gifts not for myself actually, but so i can use it to edify others. Like i always wondered how izzit like to have the gift of Prohesy,Interpretation of Tongues and Discernment...and use it to encourage or edify others. And well...i was actually prayed for this like TWICE in the past 8-9 days only...at the last ym leaders retreat and only just now! So its like way to coincidence to happen twice in like just slighly more than a week. Well, i guess i will still wait and have Faith! to see if i really get this spiritual gifts one day. And Daniel did this exercise with us after the ministry time... this time he thought us practical ways on how we cld minister to others. And this is something i really want to learn. As i somehow did abit of this at the last YM CAMP last yr, when i was trained as an altar call minister support. But i still didnt have much Faith to do such things. But we had this practical session, when we took turns to pray for Daniel...To be honest i was a little tense...but somehow i still manage to have some Faith to pray for him,and really tried to depend on the Holy Spirit guidance! And it was quite an interesting experience as i did tat... as later Daniel also shared abt how i did it and how i can improve on it. So it was a very good learning session. I can like go on and on..as so much things happen just now..but well we are really bless to have Glenn sharing all this with us today. Really learn alot...and DANIEL is really one PRO-MULTI TALENTED MUSICIAN man!...when glenn said how good he was...he really did mean it! After much persuading..Daniel showed off his guitar skills!I have seen many good guitarist before..BUT DANIEL is really LIKE THE PRO PRO PRO!!! He like on the spot created some remix and new versions for songs such as THIS IS HOW WE OVERCOME, and it like he played percussion sounds part to...with just a guitar alone! So he can like play both at once on a guitar! He cld also play the drum,keyboard,bass and almost all the other instruments in a band! THATS HOW MULTI TALENTED he is!!!! What an awesome day!!!!!!!!!!! TMR FINALLY GOING TO WATCH TRANSFORMERS! this time with keith and shawn(the strange thing was..i didnt ask them abt me wanting to watch transformers..but when i was looking for ppl to watch with...keith suddenly ask if i wanted to watch!HOW COINCIDENCE IS THAT). Sorry darren i cant gym with u tmr...but i really wanna catch this movie first!!!
